A natural paradise right on the Loire, The newly renovated and very tastefully furnished vacation home with its beautiful garden offered us a great home for our family vacation. We enjoyed the quiet evenings at sunset on the Loire. If you're looking for a break in nature, this is the place to be. We were able to move freely with our children on the huge and wild property. Playing by the river, climbing or feeding the sheep - it was a highlight for the children. We have explored the area on many hikes. Roanne offers many shopping opportunities. The weekly markets have excellent cheese specialties. The cities of Clermont-Ferand, Saint-Etienne and Lyon are also easy to reach and worth a visit. The host Alain is very, very nice, always easy to reach, he gave us tips for excursions and information on all questions we had. The house is an absolute insider tip, much nicer than it is to see in the pictures!

We liked it very much in the gîte, everything was as described and we felt very comfortable. It was nice that there were sun loungers, so we could relax well after our holiday in Provence. Véronique also gave us a tip for a nice hike, which we also did.
