Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

New 20 m2 studio with a fully equipped kitchenette (basic coffee machine with washable filter) and separate bathroom, all enlarged by a small 6 m2 veranda and 40 m2 of furnished terrace (tables, chairs) and especially awnings on the entire facade overlooking a landscaped garden. Sleeps 2 adults. Sheets, towels, tea towels, cleaning products provided. The village has a train station (Limoges/Périgueux line) located a few minutes' walk from the cottage. I can pick you up by car.

This charming and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, is a wonderful place to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already ready for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. We are LGBTQI+-friendly and believe in a place where everyone feels free and at home!

Located in the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Park, our renovated house will offer you calm and greenery, an ideal site for families. There are plenty of nature activities nearby. The Hermeline leisure center in Bussières-Galant is 9 km away, the outdoor swimming pool of Jumilhac is 8 km away, many rivers for swimming, hiking trails, mountain biking, archery, climbing, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing and visiting the historical sites of Périgord.
