Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

We had a great time at Stéphanie's place. The accommodation was perfectly maintained, pleasant and very well equipped. We appreciated its location between Saintes and Cognac. Thanks to Stéphanie for hosting.

Our two hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The rental is very nice and cozy. The indoor heated swimming pool as well as the gym with sauna are a real asset. Recommended!

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and magnificent terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was okay for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, the WiFi is a little slow for teleworking. I recommend it.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Amazing place for three generations to stay while attending a local wedding. Pool was great and the setting is fantastic. When we had a small issue, they went above and beyond to get it fixed very quickly. We will dream of the place forever!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.

We had two very relaxing weeks at Gîte Magitte. The house is situated in the countryside amidst beautiful wheat fields and walnut groves, near the village of Bardenac so peace and quiet are guaranteed. The house is very comfortable and equipped with everything one could need, including air conditioning in the two downstairs bedrooms which was very much appreciated when temperatures rose above 35C. Our little terrier had plenty of space to run around as the garden is huge although not enclosed. The pièce de resistance with these temperatures was of course the beautiful swimming pool where we spent most of our day. The owner Guillaume was always accessible and replied immediately to any message we sent. We will certainly come back.

Great family weekend! The house is beautiful and very well-equipped. A real plus of having one bathroom per bedroom. Anne was very available and helped us prepare for our stay. Thanks again! The environment is very calm and relaxing. We recommend 100%!

We had a great time in this relaxing, soothing home. The house is very spacious, which is very comfortable and everyone can have independent and isolated rest areas both indoors and outdoors. This building is really worth knowing about. Nina and Axel are very organized and efficient in giving all the instructions and in an ultra-fast way. We recommend this stone house combining charm and character.

Great stay in a charming environment near the river - Terry & John were very discrete. We absolutely loved the Jeux de Boulde terrain in the yard and the cosy pizza baking area.

JB's place was exactly as described: a very nicely arranged space in the countryside, absolutely perfect to deconnect and relax. There is some wildlife around to observe when taking any one of the walks in the area! We also enjoyed the restaurant recommendation right on the river: good food, and a lively atmosphere.

This is probably the coolest house I've ever stayed at. The house was HUGE inside, the pictures don't do it justice. And the garden was perfect for our whippet pup to sprint and explore to her heart's content, very secure. Claire was really helpful and gave us good advice regarding getting food on a bank holiday. We'll definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful Airbnb! The house was magnificent, and the garden with pool was really a picture. Everything was neat and clean, and we relaxed here. The only thing we were mistaken about is that the hosts were right next to us. Because of this, there was a little less privacy than we expected. This is completely our own preference and does not affect the quality of the Airbnb. It's just something to keep in mind if you want to be a little more private.
