Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Saint-Romain-sur-Cher

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It is particularly well-equipped, well-furnished and tastefully decorated. We were very well received and well advised on the activities we wanted to do.

Came as a family to visit Beauval, ideally located and well-equipped accommodation, quiet and above all that matches the listing. Our daughter loved her room with the books and games left available. Responsive host when needed, very clear check-in and check-out instructions. We'll definitely stay here again 😊

We had a great stay at Rémi and Adeline's place, everything was great. We came to visit the Zoo, which was very convenient because the accommodation was 12 minutes away by car👌🏻 Thanks to Rémi for his little tips We will be happy to come back to their place 😻

Very nice little house with what you need in any case for 2 nights. A self check-in so we didn't meet Maxime. 16 min from the Zoo (traffic both days) but it's still a very good base. Thanks again and maybe see you next time.

We had a very good stay at the Oiseaux du Paradis. The house lived up to our expectations, very clean and welcoming. Impeccable bedding! Its location close to the zoo in a few minutes is a real plus. We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully renovated historic flour mill. The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light, the kitchen is well-equipped, and there is lots of outdoor space. We loved the grounds including the bird song to welcome the day (and the tawny owl hooting overnight). The location was great for getting to chateaux and there are food stores ten minutes away.

We had a wonderful week in Jocelyne's well-kept cottage! A lovely garden with various seating areas and beautiful views of the Loire. In June, the roses are in full bloom. The cottage is well equipped, and has a French cozy atmosphere. The bedroom is spacious and has a good bed. Communication with Jocelyne was friendly and quick. The area offers many opportunities for beautiful bike rides (e.g. Chambord castle) or walks along the Loire. In short, a nice B&B!

A great stay at Véronique's. Ideally located for a visit to the castles. The accommodation is impeccable, functional, a terrace to enjoy the evening. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. You can go there without a second thought.

A great accommodation for a couple looking for tranquility and a cozy nest. Beautiful stickers on the walls that make us feel like we're on vacation, but also objects all over the accommodation that make us feel ZEN. 10-15 min by car to the city of Saint-Aignan where you can find "Le Caveau" wine, beer, whiskey and rum bar. Right next to a very good pizzeria. But also the Beauval zoo. I highly recommend this accommodation for all couples who wish to visit this region.

Thank you to Julien for this quality and very well located accommodation: close to the city center of Blois (25 min walk) but quiet and very well located to visit the many castles of the Loire. It was cool, which was very appreciable in the evening after days of sightseeing in the heat! The hammock in the bedroom is a little extra to relax with a good book. Finally, Julien is very considerate and responsive so we highly recommend 👍

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

Very good stay in the accommodation in a peaceful location, facing the vineyards. Located less than 2 km from the Beauval zoo park.

You can't find a better service that perfectly matches the description on the site. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or proposal for improvement are very commendable. But as it is specified in many opinions published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already at the top. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the general situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their place.

Very well-equipped apartment. Everything is sparkling clean. Within cycling distance of the city center with many restaurants. The bakery is within walking distance to get delicious baguettes in the morning and more. Supermarkets are also in short proximity. Bicycles could be safely stored in the basement room on the bottom left of the apartment building and the wagon can be placed in the open parking space with enclosed bareel. Places too over to park.👌👍

We just returned from our stay in Blois and we were very satisfied with the residence. The location is amazing and the house was a great value compared to others we researched. We ate lovely meals there with food from the local shops and enjoyed the view. There are a few caveats to share that didn't negatively impact our stay, but should be shared for clarity. There are two toilettes in the house on two different level and they are shared by all guests. There are in-room bathing and sinks in each bedroom, but only one room has a stand up shower. The other two are designed to combine with a bath. There is another shower on the main level, but it is not as convenient as having it in-room. There is also no realistic parking on site and the center town is crowded. We used the paid parking that is very close and convenient, but was an extra 15 euro per day. Lastly, it is good to know this is an old building with neighbors, so there is some noise. Our co-host was also fantastic. Merci!

This is a nice and functional apartment in a good and quiet location. Central location for excursions to various castles. The secure bicycle cellar and parking space are great. Thanks to Elena for the friendly support.

Very good welcome from Allison and Thomas, we immediately felt comfortable! Special mention for the pool, our 2 year old daughter had a lot of fun (daddy too of course!) We would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Martine's, who is a dynamic, welcoming, helpful and willing woman. Small attentions on our arrival small strawberries 🍓 from the neighboring producer were waiting for us, bath towels nicely positioned on the bed, small care for its visitors, for optimum comfort. You feel good at Martine's, like at home. I hope to come back!!!!
