Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Stephan

Sebastien responded quickly to our messages, communication was easy, not complicated and friendly, we felt comfortable. The cottage was as described, clean, very, very well-equipped (better than described), the view was magnificent, and the sauna and jacuzzi were great. In short, a lovely vacation for us.

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was beautiful and quiet, just a few minutes walk to the lake. It was easy to drive to interlaken and surrounding areas with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again!

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

We had a great time. The description of the accommodation and amenities is perfectly in line with reality. Beautiful views of Lake Geneva. The place is very nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. It feels like home. Jean Luc is a very friendly, caring and accommodating host. We recommend it 100%, you won't be disappointed.

Booked the chalet for a weekend with visiting family, to get out of the city. The chalet is very charming and comfortable and had almost everything we needed (except shampoo) and the fondue and raclette grill were a plus! The downside was the walk from the bus station (25 minutes - a lot when it’s hot and carrying groceries and luggage), and the noise from the nearby hydro plant which was loud but thankfully not constant (though when you travel all that way hoping to hear sounds of nature it was a bummer). Nevertheless we loved our stay, the proximity to trails and cable car, the village was lovely with a great restaurant, and the chalet is away from any street or car noise. Dawn let us check out late so we could enjoy another day at the chalet which we all appreciated!

Martine was a welcoming host. She was discreet but available if needed, which can be convenient. Her house is very spacious and typical mountain atmosphere😍. There is a lot of walking nearby and we were even able to test the restaurant la ferme des trois ours right next to the cottage which was a feast. I would recommend Martine's place without a second thought. We had a pleasant stay. The dogs also loved it! we will be back no problem. ☺️

The house is beautiful and the surroundings are so beautiful that it exceeded all our expectations. It's even more beautiful than what you see in the photos.

We felt very comfortable. Great location, the shuttle to Zermatt runs regularly and you can leave the car in the parking garage. Susanne was very helpful and always responded quickly. It is important that you read Susanne's documentation well in advance, otherwise it will be difficult to find the apartment. But Susanne has created a super detailed description, so it's easy. We'd love to visit again.

We were looking for something quiet and also found it in this nice apartment. It is homely and you can enjoy a great view towards Engstligenalp and Lohner. The walking distance to the village is absolutely doable. We felt right at home. In summer, the terrace with the pool is certainly a hit.

This is a large Airbnb, which is fairly close to the train station in Zermatt, and the host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The Airbnb is situated on the side of a large hill, which faces the Matterhorn. We had a beautiful view of the mountain every single day, and the dual lifts make it easy and convenient to get from town to the Airbnb. The only downside -- and it really wasn't much of a problem -- is that the Airbnb is located near the edge of town, and so it is about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of Zermatt where most of the restaurants are located. Regardless, if you have a large group, this makes for a good option. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Magical! Loved every moment spent here. Had the place to myself during off peak season and a dream location for anyone that loves the mountains! Trails began right at your doorstep! The place was well furnished with everything you needed. Kitchen was well stocked and grocer was open nearby too with all that you could have needed. Spent almost a week and hope I have the chance to visit again!

We had a great long Pentecost weekend at Eric's place. We enjoyed the covered terrace and the children were able to have fun in the pool and garden despite the coolness. The region is very pretty and offers many walks and hikes for all levels. Thanks to Eric for hosting us!

We loved staying at Once Upon a Time. Tucked away in a lovely village with all the necessities. We loved the apartment it was had many nice touches we especially enjoyed the balcony.Luekerbad is a hidden gem. The town is charming and we couldn't have asked for more!

We stayed at Ula's Holiday Apartments for the second time. Again a really clean apartment and hospitality. We really recomend a stay at Ula's!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were already expected and everything worth knowing was explained to us. Parking is available right in front of the house. The gondola station as well as a supermarket are only a few meters away. The apartment is modern and lovingly furnished, everything necessary is available and very clean. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A big thank you to Véronique for her hospitality, I highly recommend the little chalet. She is very kind, with local recommendations. Véronique is reachable, helpful and very sunny. Also, the accommodation was very clean, with high-end furniture and amenities, a beautiful terrace and incredible decorations. Well done for his inspiration. The accommodation is perfect for a dog; thank you for the bowls on arrival. Finally, we appreciated his gesture with the bottle of wine and his jar of jam. Nothing to complain about. Excellence would be the most appropriate word.

Irene was a very friendly and responsive host. The house is very pretty and traditional with a beautiful garden, mountain view and animals. We were provided with everything we needed, such as shampoo, a hair dryer, kitchen utensils. The surroundings are amazing, but if you’re new to driving in Switzerland then you may find the driveway a little difficult to get up (quite steep in places). However, once you arrive at the house you will know it was all worth it! We would definitely stay here again 😊

There were relaxing days a little out of the way. We were able to spend relaxing days after intense times and recharge our batteries. Thank you Stefan for the beautiful bigout for all peace seekers. The views from the apartment were out-of-this-world beautiful. We loved sleeping with the windows open, because hearing the flowing river was very peaceful to our souls. The Coop, below, was an added bonus, because it’s so close and convenient! The apartment was very clean, and we enjoyed the spacious layout. Thank you for providing us with a great place to stay in Kandersteg.

We had a very nice stay at Birgit's place and felt very comfortable. The apartment was neat and clean and corresponded to the description as well as the pictures. The location on the quite busy street is no problem, the apartment has very well insulated windows. For travelers with a dog, there are also plenty of opportunities for a walk in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. Birgit was always available for questions and took care of our concerns promptly. We are happy to recommend the apartment and would come back anytime!
