Quietly located in a small historic village, Johanne's bungalow offers a cozy retreat with a large garden and even a fireplace, as well as a great large kitchenette. It's a shame that we were only there for a few nights, otherwise there might have been the opportunity to have even more nice conversations with the friendly and warm hostess. Such a lovely person, you can only hug them! Thank you, Johanne - we would love to come back to enjoy more of the great landscape of Sologne with the forests and ponds!

We had an excellent stay! We were very warmly greeted by the host and felt welcome and very much at home. The venue is excellent - we took it as a hub to visit Loire castles, but also to relax a play ping pong. We can recommend the house and the hosts by all means.

We had a very good stay to visit the castles of the Loire and the Beauval zoo. The studio was well located for our various visits and the neighborhood was very quiet. The studio was consistent with the photos and description and very clean. The air conditioning was very appreciable with the heat it was during our stay. Laurence was very kind and available to respond to messages.

Apartment has everything needed for a comfortable weeklong stay. Great spot just outside the old city. Easy to walk along the Loire. The wine and madeleines were a nice touch. Kitchen stocked with condiments. Definitely recommend - the hosts were responsive and gave great local suggestions.

We loved staying at Lucie’s place. It’s in a perfect location in Blois near everything that you may want to do. It’s quiet, and was so clean and bright. She had a nice book of restaurant suggestions as well as things to do near bye. The bed in the main bedroom was large and comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Thank you, Lucie!

Very well-equipped apartment. Everything is sparkling clean. Within cycling distance of the city center with many restaurants. The bakery is within walking distance to get delicious baguettes in the morning and more. Supermarkets are also in short proximity. Bicycles could be safely stored in the basement room on the bottom left of the apartment building and the wagon can be placed in the open parking space with enclosed bareel. Places too over to park.👌👍

We just returned from our stay in Blois and we were very satisfied with the residence. The location is amazing and the house was a great value compared to others we researched. We ate lovely meals there with food from the local shops and enjoyed the view. There are a few caveats to share that didn't negatively impact our stay, but should be shared for clarity. There are two toilettes in the house on two different level and they are shared by all guests. There are in-room bathing and sinks in each bedroom, but only one room has a stand up shower. The other two are designed to combine with a bath. There is another shower on the main level, but it is not as convenient as having it in-room. There is also no realistic parking on site and the center town is crowded. We used the paid parking that is very close and convenient, but was an extra 15 euro per day. Lastly, it is good to know this is an old building with neighbors, so there is some noise. Our co-host was also fantastic. Merci!

I recommend this apartment, very functional and clean. very easy to access and quiet neighborhood. the big plus is the private parking. once the vehicle is parked, bike or tram possible. city center 20 to 30 min walk. responsive and friendly host.
