What an amazing private getaway. Michel was so great and hospitable and very helpful in helping us with connecting flights and overall communication. Vincent the chef was amazing..his dishes each night were so delicious. Just an overall great experience and great vacation. I highly recommend this Airbnb. I’ve stayed in at least 49 Air Bnbs, and Denis’ place is number 1! It was the perfect place for me and my husband to spend a blissful week. Highlights: Geraldine’s cooking was over-the- top delicious! We loved them all, breakfast, lunch and dinners. The taste and presentation was world class. The cocktails were unique and yummy. We especially loved the peanut punch. Her meals were so nutritious that we left healthier and happier. The food was locally sourced or caught by Denis Denis’ Dolphin Bay tour was great and we loved the snorkeling. We saw a giant sting ray! We enjoyed the variety of birds around the eco lodge. We also took a tour to the Nöbä indigenous cacao plantation. Very interesting and a wonderful lunch. And we also did the dolphin and sloth tour and had great sightings of both. So much to do, and also just a great place to stay and relax. On our last day we kayaked and snorkeled from the eco lodge. Before we left they gave great advice on Panama City.

This is beautiful! We went during the off season in June and we were the only ones there. You can snorkle right off the balcony and see tons of fish. There are a coiple of reefs right by the house. We saw dolphins swimming by one morning and we also saw a sting rey swim under us. We are already talking about going back!

Our stay at Jen and Chris’s Airbnb was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking views and the kind of tranquility that only comes with being right on the water. The casita was thoughtfully designed, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking easy and enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and sipping coffee while watching birds flit through the trees was an absolute dream. The water access here is incredible; calm, clear, and perfect for swimming. We spent so much time in and out of the water, just soaking in the beauty of the place. The kids ran wild together from sunrise to sunset, fully immersed in nature, and we loved seeing them so free and happy. One of the highlights of our trip was the massage I received from Jen. I can confidently say it was one of the best massages of my life. It was intuitive and deeply relaxing. It was exactly what I didn’t even know I needed.

It feels like a treehouse in the jungle with the sounds of the wildlife and ocean waves in the background. Gloria’s house is not only beautiful but a very peaceful place to stay, incredibly relaxing. There is a bar on the beach and a few restaurants nearby, definitely recommend The Hummingbird for food. There are also two good swimming spots that you can get to after a walk through the jungle and along the beach; La Piscina and the Blue Lagoon. Maybe take a picnic and make an afternoon of it? The house is about 20 minutes from town so it’s a good idea to get some supplies when you first arrive before heading there. Gloria was a great host and Will, the chap who takes care of the house, was also great and they both speak Spanish and English. You’ll be in good hands here. Best of all, how wonderful to wake up in the morning and discover that you are having breakfast with monkeys, eating bananas from a tree right next to you. This is a special place that I shall not forget.

Dorien made us stay in the small 2-seater cabin visible in the photos. The cabin is very simple, with a fan. The toilets and showers are separate, but very close and clean. Dorien is full of attention: she welcomed us warmly, provided us with kayaks and snorkeling equipment and recommended hikes on the island. She also offers all of her Cacao farm during which she will not hesitate to show you all the animals and plants that live in her home, including a lazy family and Felipe the parrot. Her kids and volunteers are there to brighten up meals. We had a very pleasant stay, in a very quiet and peaceful little corner and in very simple but perfectly functional and pleasant conditions. Loved it! Dorien can arrange pickups from other lodges with her Captain:)

We really liked Daniel's place. Very nicely located, right on the water. We were also very well received. Highly recommended especially if you don't want to be right inside the city.

The space inside was lovely and homie. The outdoor space was even better. Excellent spot to go for a swim. Very peaceful spot to hang out and stare out into the water❤️
