Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Frediano, Florence

A beautiful spot in a great location of Florence. Everything is in walking distance, from the train station to the Academia to the Uffizi, this is an excellent place to stay. We are a family of four and we arrived to find the pull out couch nicely made into a bed for our children. The place was spotless as well! The host is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Lorenzo was an exceptional host. Very attentive, thoughtful, and full of great local recommendations. He checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. If I could rate this place 15/10, I would! We had a rental car, and the location couldn’t have been better, just a 10-minute drive to everything, with convenient parking right in front of the house. Plus, the garden was absolutely stunning

This place is absolutely stunning! Alessandro is the most amazing host- very flexible with our late check in and early leaving time- even brought us a cappuccino at 3:30am before we left! Couldn’t recommend more- we will definitely be back- thank you for the most amazing stay!

Really loved our stay here. The rooftop was amazing and it wasn't noisy at all, even with a concert going on a few blocks away. Amazing ambiance and views.

Donella’s place was so beautiful!! If you have a chance to stay here definitely do so!! She puts so much thought and care into every part of the Airbnb. She left us a food basket and gave us great recommendations. The place has 2 beautiful balconies, where we drank wine and watched the sunset. The whole place was just spectacular. There was air conditioning and two bathrooms. Thank you Donella for everything!

We had an excellent time staying at Raoul’s apartment. The location was perfect with easy access to the city centre and also the lovely parts close to the apartment south of the river. There was so much to do and see nearby, as well as amazing food right at your doorstep. If you’re a bit on the taller side like me (6ft1) then the bathroom and shower will feel snug but it did not detract from the experience. It was quiet at night and peaceful throughout the day with the only time of busyness being the end of the school day. I would happily stay here again and Raoul was an excellent host providing lots of information about the local area as well as responsive.

This was our second time in Firenze, and one of our favourite places to visit. Claudia’s apartment was an absolute pleasure to come home to after a day of sightseeing. In a wonderful location, handy for the city but away from the tourist hubbub, it has several very good restaurants and bars nearby. You don’t have to go far for an authentic Italian food experience, in fact we ventured 20 metres on our first night, enjoying an excellent meal in a fabulous atmosphere just a few doors away. We followed one of Claudia’s many local recommendations for one of the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten on our second night (Berbere Pizza) it’s a three minute walk away. We’ll be trying their sister restaurant in Rome on the next leg of our travels! Claudia’s home is beautifully and creatively presented. It’s clean, spacious and well equipped and Claudia expands the experience with some thoughtful touches that added a genuine warmth. We would recommend her place to anyone and would happily stay again.

We enjoyed staying here during our time in Florence. It’s in a really good location, with restaurants and bars nearby. It is only a short walk into the centre of Florence, or there are plenty of bus stops close by. I Would recommend staying here.

Extremely pleasant apartment, in which you feel at home. It's large and well-equipped. The street and the neighborhood are quite protected from tourism, which is rare in Florence and it was very pleasant. The owners were very responsive and welcoming and the apartment was very clean. I highly recommend it!

We had a great stay here. The apartment is remarkably quiet but also so accessible and walkable to all the restaurants and ships in historic district. Apartment was spotless and had all modern appliances and fixtures. Bed was super comfy and Romina was so helpful with recommendations and arrangements. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect in every way. Beautiful place to call home while in Florence. It had everything we needed and more. Sveva had wonderful recommendations that perfected our time in Florence. Coffee and gelato are steps away from the front door. SMN is an easy 10 minute walk, everything that we could have possibly needed was all in walking distance. We loved meeting everyone, and even had an opportunity to tour the museum, which was stunning. We will be staying here every time we come to Florence. Thank you Sveva!

Lucia's apartment is fabulous, spacious, and tastefully furnished. It is very clean and equipped with all comforts. Excellent location Lucia is a kind, helpful and attentive host to her guests.

A perfect stay in Florence. Mattia’s house is not only perfectly located with an amazing terrace but so welcoming with lovely relaxing spaces with incredible views , extremely comfortable beds, and attention to all those small details that make a stay special. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend to others.

Wow… so much to say about this place! It was a wonderful experience. 5 minutes from the train station so it was quick to check in. The hosts were so helpful with every question we had. We celebrated our anniversary on the day we arrived and order the Love Package. It was beautiful! Would highly recommend staying here to anybody coming to visit!

Lovely little apartment, close to everything, very homely feel and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment is located on a busy road which is quite loud, but to me it made it feel authentic which I enjoyed. Also the apartment does get very hot and the fan is not very powerful. Mattia responded very quickly to all my queries and was very understanding with our check in time changing as our train was cancelled and then delayed. We received a warm welcome and lots of recommendations of local spots and things to do in Florence. Overall this is a great air bnb and I would recommend staying:)

Caterina's suite was very lovely and clean. The area was perfect - walkable to just about everything but in a quieter spot in the Oltrarno part of Florence. Great food close by and the stunning Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens and Santo Spirito are only minutes away. I can't wait to go back to Florence and would absolutely stay here again. The stairs in the apartment building are no joke but add to the authentic atmosphere. Caterina has a very comprehensive book of everything you need to know about the area in her apartment which told me about S. Fourno - a bakery I will be dreaming about until my next visit!
