Modern Urban Home in San José - La Sabana

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This isn’t just an Airbnb—it’s an experience clearly crafted by artistic souls who care deeply about beauty, comfort, and good energy. Every corner of the home radiates creativity and warmth, like a love letter to Costa Rica itself. The vibe is unforgettable—tropical, soulful, and effortlessly cool. The space is beautifully stocked with everything we needed and more. From cozy linens to charming little details, you can feel the thoughtful touch everywhere. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely at home. And the garage? A total bonus, especially for peace of mind. Thank you for sharing this special slice of Pura Vida. We’re leaving inspired, grateful, and already dreaming of our return.

Tierra Vital Athens - Villa 2

LindaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We specifically chose to stay here for the view..it was spectacular. It's a very peaceful place located in a small, town. If you only want to relax this is a great spot. The home was clean, had everything you would need. There are insects here and there in the home, but that's a given due to the location. It didn't bother us. Getting there for us was a bit challenging, especially if you plan to visit other surrounding areas. We visited La Fortuna one night and it took us about 2.5hrs to drive 38 miles, to give you an idea of how the roads are there. I would recommend a 4x4. Beware of the occasional fog, another element that made it difficult for us at times to drive in. Driving around there is not for the weak. I enjoyed our time there and the view was worth it. Everyone we encountered there was very gracious and helpful. whenever we needed anything or had any questions! We appreciated the hospitality!

This was my second visit to Rafael's home, and every bit as satisfying. I will try and book this location every visit to Cartago.

Mediterranean Villa

Elfo & ZoeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Rober’s villa was absolutely gorgeous! Every space was tastefully decorated with beautiful art & sculpture. The enclosed patios lined with bouganvillia along with the comfort of lounging & dining indoors made the space truly feel like a Mediterranean getaway worlds away from the hustle & bustle of the surrounding town. Will be our new go to anytime we’re in the area!

Recommended for going with your partner and pet. External lighting could be reinforced to take even more advantage of the place at night.

Los Jaules Brand New Mini Studio

GenevieveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely amazing place! Comfortable, modern, and high-tech — so clean you could eat off the floor. I had restful sleeps and and super productive work sessions. The shower was strong, warm, and never failed. Cristofer is a truly special person: friendly, enthusiastic, fully dedicated to his role as host, and a joy to chat with! He traveled everywhere as a digital nomad and understand all the hardship of this lifestyle. The location is authentic and quiet, hidden at the end of a road on a local family property, a 5-minute walk to Club Los Jaules where you'll find the BEST GYM EVER set in a natural environment. There's a local bus that takes you to Coronado, a charming town with cheap food spots and friendly locals (much better than San José center IMO). As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe, even coming back late at night.
