Our Grandmother’s house is located in the peaceful village of San Lorenzo della Costa, in Santa Margherita Ligure. This bright panoramic apartment in a detached house offers stunning views over the Gulf of Tigullio. Situated on a quiet narrow road, it is ideal for families and small groups looking for a relaxing stay. The apartment is entirely at your disposal. We live on the ground floor of the same house. Close to the Via Aurelia, noise may be heard, but it remains quiet and peaceful.

The house is totally independent, surrounded by the greenery of the Ligurian olive grove, with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Paradise. The view from the terraces and windows opens from the extreme west of Liguria to Mount Portofino and on clear days to the Tuscan archipelago and Corsica. The sea (500 meters) Recco (1200 m.) and Portofino National Park (3 km) can be reached not only by car, but also on foot with scenic walks; Genoa-Nervi is 12 km away (SS1 Aurelia)

The beach, center, restaurants, station, and ferries are within walking distance. A unique place to spend mornings drinking coffee and evenings sipping local wine, admiring the sunrise and sunset in the front row!🌅🍷 *If there are more than 2 of you, we recommend the apartment for families! There is little privacy.

The Window on the Sea

THE WINDOW ON THE SEA 50 sqm open space on the beach where you can relax with the sound of the surf. It is located on the top floor (third), without an elevator and with a steep staircase, of one of the colorful fishermen's houses. There are also internal stairs to reach the mezzanine of the double bed. Furnished with inspiration from the world of boats, made of wood and steel, it can accommodate 2+2 people (children). Suitable for people with a Spartan spirit.

The house is located on the edge of Monte Portofino Park and along the Liguria Trail. Access is pedestrian only with distances of 300 and 700 m respectively from the nearest bus stop and parking (public and free), walking through "creuze" (mule tracks) and stairways. The beach can be reached by a 1.8 km pedestrian path or by bus.
