Apartment holiday rentals in San Marco, Venice

What a wonderful stay. Would not hesitate to book again. Hosts were always responsive, met us immediately on arrival to go over specifics of the apartment. We made coffee in the mornings overlooking the grand canal from the kitchen and enjoyed dinners on the terrace overlooking the grand canal in the evening. After climbing all the bridges you will know what a benefit it is to be close to the bus/train stations. Drop your bags immediately and start enjoying the city! Beds, A/C, rooms all very comfy. Having an elevator is rare and very much appreciated! Stop looking and book this place!!

We were very impressed with the details in this gorgeous apartment, the quaint view and how easy it was to get to from the shuttle bus drop off. A perfect spot for an overnight in Venice!

This place… literally worth every penny. From the location and the perfect part of town it’s in, to the fact that I could hear the gondaliers as they go past our windows and opening up the windows to our own personal quiet canal. This place was everything and more. Truly a perfect airbnb in Venice. One of my friends was so inspired by the photos I posted of this place, she immediately booked it and planned a trip to come out just for this place. Highly recommend! Thank you again paolo!

This was a peaceful stay in Venice! Our location was perfect for access to the water buses and walkable distance to all the amazing sights while also in a quiet peaceful place!

This was my favorite spot on our Europe trip this summer. Thoughtful details great spot to unwind after hours of walking in Venice.. the location is great and walkable to so much Venice has to offer.. Around the corner there are some great restaurants and wine bars that Host recommended. Sara was fast in responding and a great host! We will definitely come back and stay!

If you are looking for a quiet oasis away from the crowds of Venice then this is the place! You literally have everything you need not far from the door including amazing restaurants. Elisabetta kindly met us on check in and gave us some excellent information. We loved staying in this apartment and highly recommend to others.

We had a great time at Tanja’s place. We attended the Biennale and we could have not asked for a better location in such a lovely apartment. The neighbourhood was so quiet and nice and Gio was a great co-host.

Excellent address, a very well located apartment, in the greenery, very bright where it is good to rest. And above all, an extremely attentive host to our needs, very friendly who does not hesitate to communicate her good addresses. A big thank you for these few days in this Dorsoduro that we love so much. We'll be back!

We had a great stay. The only possible issue one might have is that the first flight of stairs going up is steep so heavy luggage or a back problem could be an issue. Everything thing else was fine. Christina who did our check in is very helpful!

We enjoyed a wonderful month's holiday in this apartment and we will happily do so again. The host, lives nearby and was always quickly responsive to our questions or need for advice. She also gave us complete privacy. The apartment has windows on three sides so there is that most luxurious of things: a cross breeze when the windows are open. Windows are solidly built and can be firmly closed against heat and street sounds. Great bathroom, well equipped kitchen, luxurious bedding, fast and reliable wifi. The vaporetto and traghetto stops are a 10 minute walk from the apartment and so it is well connected to the city. At the end of our stay we took a vaporetto to the airport -- that vaporetto stop is a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Terrific value for the money. A gem!

Maddalena’s apartment in Venice is truly a gem! We found the location to be in a quieter area of Venice, while still being incredibly walkable to all the sites. Maddalena was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. The cherry on top is the view from the balcony, which truly left us speechless. Maddalena, thank you for sharing your place with us! We can’t wait to visit Venice again in the future!

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location on the canal. The apartment is very centrally located - easy walking distance to all main attractions but also if you head south it's easy to get into some quieter areas. The windows look down onto one of the canals and we spent some wonderful time sitting by the window ledges watching gondolas float past and listening to the musicians. It was a perfect size for the three of us - plenty of living space, and bathroom and bedroom were big enough for all of us. Our only issue was it was hot to sleep in at night, and we couldn't open the windows due to mosquitos. A couple of fans would improve this. Martina was very communicative and kindly let us leave our bags before and after check in/out.

Fabio was a wonderful host, and his place was beautiful. It was out of the touristy areas, which was nice for some peace and quiet after a long day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Fabio’s place to anyone visiting Venice!

Davide’s AirBnB was one of the nicest I have personally stayed at. The description perfectly matched what we stayed in, very clean and walkable to everything. It was very spacious and the bed was so big and comfortable. The neighborhood was so nice with a grocery store and pharmacy right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Venice again!

A lovely apartment in a quieter area of the city. The street outside has the canal and plenty of local bars and restaurants. The terrace was perfect for our morning coffee or afternoon relax, pretty quiet overlooking rooftops. Walking distance to all the tourist spots, or easy to get to by water taxi. The apartment has lovely traditional decor and is clean and spacious. The only thing to consider is it is up 3 flights of stairs, and has very low ceilings / beams so may be difficult if you are tall. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Francesca

Mikro was really a good host! The apartment looked like the pictures and was in a nice neighborhood close to a lot of restaurants and things to see.

Very spacious and decorated accommodation with taste. It is very functional and very well-equipped. Stephano is very responsive and available. Accommodation to recommend 10 minutes from St. Mark's Square.

Giorgia was so kind and welcoming upon our arrival. She had a load of recommendations for us which we followed and were NOT disappointed! We were also able to drop off our luggage ahead of time to avoid having to check it somewhere which we really appreciated. Honestly, look no further for your Venice stay. You’ll have a GREAT time here :)

We had a wonderful stay at Erika's place in Venice. It was a spacious and beautiful house in a quite neighbourhood. We were a big family group of 8 and it felt really spacious and it was nice to use it as our base to explore Venice. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood, a short walk to the bus stop or train station which will take you directly to Venice main island. The place felt secure and clean however there were a few items that needed attention/repairs. I would recommend Erika's place if you are looking for somewhere that is value for money, spacious and it was a really good base for our trip to Venice.

Great stay with a wonderful host! Lara was very welcoming and provided lots of practical tips that saved us a lot of time and effort during our trip. The location is super convenient — only 10 minutes to Venice’s Piazzale Roma with frequent connections every 10 minutes. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The host was always reachable for any questions. Highly recommended — especially for families with kids!

Great Airbnb! Flavio reached out via whats app and made sure I was comfortable with check in procedures. He sent his cousin, who spoke English, to assist us. The Airbnb was very clean and exactly as described! No issues at all! Great location! Very walkable to where we wanted to go!

Pierantionio's stunning Venice apartment is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in! The apartment itself is beautiful, with views of the canal from multiple windows, and very good value. Just to spend time in the apartment was heavenly. We loved the whirlpool tub. Not only that, but this is the prettiest and one of the most peaceful neighborhoods in Venice. Everything you need is steps from your door. The water bus is a flat and easy 4 minute walk, making luggage transfer from the airport or train station a breeze. The AC was a welcome amenity at night. We felt so lucky to stay here! I hope we get to stay again. If you have the opportunity to book this place, don't think twice, just do it.
