“If you’ve been looking to check “stay in a treehouse” off your adventure list...this is the place! Prepare to unplug & relax in a truly unique setting. The treehouse was sparkling clean & everything is so well thought out. My only complaint is that our stay wasn’t long enough to explore more of the property. We will be back!”

“This was our second stay with HomeGrown HideAways. My partner and I drove down from Michigan on a whim for our anniversary in March and had a wonderful, but too brief time. When I decided to propose I settled on booking another trip to stay in Abi's treehouse. I nervously planned details for a few months then in the last week coordinated with Jessa for local tips. She was extremely helpful and our stay was magical and recharging. Natural beauty as far as the eye can see, a unique, comfortable, and special space, sweet doggos to pet, and an all around wonderful place to unwind, unplug, and reconnect with the earth. P.S. She said yes.”
Unplug, unwind, and retreat from it all. This one-room yurt-dome hybrid is our most private secluded rental on the farm. There's no indoor plumbing and limited electric, but spring water, lanterns, and a woodstove provide creature comforts. A small solar-powered generator runs a light and fan. There is adjacent parking and adjoining outhouse, plus a seasonal bath house and courtesy kitchen on the farm. BOOKING BETWEEN NOV. 1 - MAR 31? READ SPECIAL NOTICE!
“We were looking for a cool place to spend a few nights in between our hometowns of Johnson City, TN and Detroit. HomeGrown Hideaways was the perfect choice! We spent two nights in the yurt and had an incredible time. It comfortably slept the two of us plus my college-aged brother and his friend. This is most definitely glamping at its finest! We appreciated the battery-powered lanterns and the solar-powered charging station. There was firewood and fire starters for sale so we could have a campfire at night. We also enjoyed playing some disc golf and walking around the property. If you're looking for a unique place to enjoy a socially-distanced getaway, look no further than this amazing spot in Kentucky! We are already planning on coming back and staying in the tree house next time.”
