“THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! The history alone is enough to visit. This cabin is unbelievably well maintained and extremely clean. For a place being amongst so much land and woods I never saw one insect inside and barely outside. We saw plenty of wildlife from deers, foxes, chipmunks, ground hogs and their local horses. Colleen was so thoughtful and left us horse treats to feed them. My 4/6 year old boys loved this. The trails leading around the property are pristine and the soy bean fields are stunning to look at during dusk. Such beautiful land! Colleen is a stellar host and an absolute joy to talk to. She is so nice and encourages guest to use the land as their own and to explore. She provides really nice touches such as popcorn and hot cocoa which was a hit during bonfires. By the way her bonfire pit is a phenomenal space to look up at the stars and relax. Wood Benches surround the pit. A Perfect cabin to to relax inand only about an hour or less to the beaches of Lake Huron. My family thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity. If you are on the fence, rent this! You won’t regret it.”
My place is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the neighborhood, the comfy bed, and the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
“It's a nice cozy place to stay. The landscaping is beautiful, with lots of butterflies and chipmunks to watch while sitting on the porch. Our girls called it the most beautiful house and thought we should live there forever. We're driving home now and they are referring to it as our 'old house'.😆 You can either drive (~5 minutes) into town to swim, or walk up the road (~10 minutes) to a nice public beach. We did both and preferred the walk as the beach is more private and has some shade.”
