FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

It also has one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a fireplace and access to a porch with a fantastic view.

The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Welcome to Vittebyviken! Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation with wonderful views of Lake Fryken, access to sauna, jetty and private sandy beach. The house is located on the east side of the lake, 6 km from Sunne center, opposite Rottneros Park, Sunne golf course and Västanå Theater. Two cats are in the yard that will gladly keep you company if you want to stroll around the garden.
