A 200 year old "Kellerstöckl" (wine-press) adapted into an award winning house. Loft space and original wine cellar. Located within a small cluster of homes in the hamlet of Globeregg, the house is within close proximity to wineries in the area.
“I had 5 wonderful days in Sausal with my brother. Klaus' house is perfectly equipped, it leaves nothing to be desired. When we arrived there were even eggs, butter, milk and orange juice in the fridge, a great touch. After our hikes, with which you could start right outside the front door, it was a pleasure to linger on comfortable loungers in the garden, a little paradise. Klaus provided us with all the important information in advance so that we could start the vacation perfectly prepared. We borrowed e-bikes, Klaus was also a great help and support there. We will definitely be back. As a tip, make sure to enter Globeregg in the navigation system. Then you will find this magical place better.”
“Perfect for a relaxing vacation! House is very stylishly furnished, you feel at home right away! Bathroom is awesome! The kitchen is fully equipped, even a Nespresso machine. Very quiet area, beautiful view of the green hilly landscape. Seggauberg only 5 minutes away by car, be sure to go to the Assigal tavern!”
The 'Bergschule' is situated on a quiet hillside, with its own garden, 700 metres above sea-level in idyllic southern Styria. Near the famous 'Weinstraße' the location offers plenty of possibilities for discovering the surrounding countryside.
“The accommodation is very nice and idyllic and reminds of school country weeks. There are coffee capsules, wine and juices from the region, which can be consumed at fair prices. However, you live on the 1st floor and you have to go down to the front door and half of the house each time to get into the garden. You don't have that "from living room to garden" feeling. Eating outside is not quick and involves effort. It should also be noted that there are three bedrooms, but one of them is a walk-through room. You can say that it is a perfect location for cooler times. The house is very spacious and lovingly furnished. On the ground floor there is a room with a large table tennis table. The landlords are also very friendly and courteous. Furthermore, the surroundings are very beautiful and you can see a cow pasture from the balcony. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the next Buschenschank, which closes at 6pm. The Buschenschank Bernd Stelzl (in the opposite direction) is open longer, but is also further away.”
