Beach house holiday rentals in Santa Teresa Beach

It's a highly recommended place. The location is perfect! It's super close to the beach and right on the main street of Santa Teresa, so there are supermarkets, bars, and restaurants nearby. Also, the room has a stove and cooking utensils, which was very helpful for us. It also has parking for cars. The A/C is a plus, and we were able to enjoy hot water in the shower. And you can use the hotel pool, which is very nice! Also Andrea was friendly with tips for taking the Ferry.

We were blown away by the house, the service and the location. When we walked in, there was an unexpected spread of fresh fruits and other amazing snacks. The entire week there were lovely people keeping the place clean, doing our laundry, cleaning up and taking care of the pool and yard (I didn't realize this all came with the place!). They were quiet, respectful and so nice. I bought fruit at the store to cut up and before I knew it, it was done for me! The location is perfect between Playa Hermosa and the town of Santa Teresa - 0.6 mile walk on the beach to a top surfing spot and just a mile to restaurants, followed by several more miles of restaurants and shopping. Not too far away are great activities such as zip lining, horse back riding, the Montezuma waterfalls and a boat trip to Tortuga Island among other great vacation outings. Very relaxing - the jungle and the beach all in one vacation!

We loved staying with my friends here, it's an incredible space with all the comforts to enjoy our stay in Santa Teresa. The place is just like the description and the photos. What we liked most was the shared outdoor space and that the path to the beach is right in front! Nahuel was very kind to welcome us, give us local recommendations and always be attentive to our needs. We would really come back and recommend the place!!

We had the best time at Richards place, and loved the location being right next to Rocobar to grab a bite to eat. The beach is amazing, we would definitely book again.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in Latin America!!! This home is comfortable, luxury and with everything we need. The location can’t be any better, we didn’t have to rent a car or ATV because it was very easy to get to places. Beach and restaurants are all less than 5 minutes walk. The balcony of the house is so magical, we enjoyed seating on the balcony watching the rain, enjoying the trees and sometimes we can see monkeys from the balcony. The house is very quiet, clean and spacious. Free cleaning service every 4 days. Alejandro was super helpful and responsive! We really felt this is one of the best places to stay in town! We really enjoyed this home!

I can't say enough good about Carlie and her place. She's the most responsive host I've ever encountered in my years using Airbnb. I don't know how she manages to be so endlessly patient, friendly, accommodating, and responsive. She'll text you back in a nanosecond with directions, tech support, and recommendations. Carlie strives for perfection in her interactions with guests and her property. I could NEVER DO what she does - so I have mad respect for her. She felt more like a friend and a fellow traveler than an Airbnb host. As a note - Costa is an ostensibly safe place, but theft does occur. As with any location, not just Carlie's, double-check the locks and ensure your things are secured. She and the community are very safe, but it's wise to err on the side of caution. Secondly, Santa Teresa is a beach community. If you see crabs or a stray insect, butch it up - you're a guest in someone's literal and geographic home, and yes, that includes occasional, harmless wildlife.

I could not recommend this airbnb more!!! The hosts were the best hosts I have had through airbnb. They messaged us before our stay to give us instructions on how to find the place along with restaurants and recommendations on what to do. Any questions we had they were extremely attentive and responding in minutes. The location was stunning. It was difficult to get to with a car but 100% doable. We ended up renting an ATV from a company that they work with. The ATV company came to deliver it to the house and picked it up as well The hosts offered a cleaning lady to come daily which was an even better plus. It was only about a 5 minute ATV ride to the start of the main road where all the restaurants are. Overall, we had an amazing stay :))

Had an amazing stay ! Location gives you a real feel of Costa Rica, she was not kidding when she said you need a 4X4 to access the property. Love the home, love the view, and love the easy communication with the host.

Suggestion for tenants: the car really has to be 4X4!! The place is beautiful, I can't explain how beautiful it is...but the entrance and exit is extremely difficult if you don't have a 4X4, and if you use the transport or "taxis" that are here in Santa Teresa, the foreigners charge you up to 16,000 colones ($31.50) for a 2-minute round trip, in my opinion the transport is very expensive haha. But in general it's a beautiful place! We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the area and the house more. Thanks Alvaro, always for your kindness and attention, you were the best Host.🙂‍↕️🥹 The truth is, we had a very good experience, we saw monkeys, we enjoyed the pool, even taking a shower with the forest in sight was refreshing! We love it!

Absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip! Villa Koa was everything we hoped for and more. The house is spacious, beautifully laid out, and the beds were super comfy. The backyard and views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and catching up. Just a heads-up: the villa is nestled in the mountains/jungle, so bugs are part of the experience—but nothing unexpected for the setting and totally manageable. You’ll definitely need a 4x4 with high clearance (we had a Suzuki Jimny and it handled the road great). The house is not walkable to town or restaurants, so having a car is a must. Special shoutout to Sophie, the concierge—she was amazing! She gave us fantastic local recommendations and helped plan some great outings. We had a brief issue with the hot water, but concierge responded immediately and maintenance got it sorted right away. Already planning our return next year—can’t wait!

The host is beyond gracious and the surroundings and scenery are beautiful. I recommend any other visits to stay. You’ll be met with tasteful decor and owners who care about their property that it shows. Truly magical and I had the most relaxing stay. Wonderful restaurants nearby and a great vibe all around. Will definitely come back and hang out with the hostesses in travels abroad!

This place is just perfect! It's very spacious: the kitchen has everything you could need, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The private patio is amazing, with a large pool, a hammock, and surrounded by nature (it’s magical) We kept saying we were definitely coming back… and we actually extended our stay to spend the rest of our trip here! Alvaro is hand down the best host we've ever had. He arranged pizza delivery for us on the first day, gave us great recommendations, and even connected us with an ATV rental company that delivered the ATVs to the house and picked them up the next day. Incredible service! We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back someday. Note: You’ll need a 4x4 or an ATV to get to the house, especially after sunset. It’s walkable during the day, but once it gets dark, it gets very tricky — though still doable with a flashlight if you're feeling adventurous!

Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place. The house is tucked away in the jungle, surrounded by trees, palms, lush vegetation, and various animals. You can relax inside with air conditioning while enjoying the view through the large windows, or unwind on the spacious terrace and take in the natural surroundings. The interior was exactly as described - clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything listed. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Communication was excellent: quick responses, clear instructions, and even help guiding us to the house, which isn’t the easiest to find. There’s a beach nearby, and even the heart of the tourist area is within easy reach. You’ll definitely need a real 4x4 vehicle, as reaching the property requires crossing a stream several times - which can become more challenging during the rainy season. We would definitely choose this place again if we return to Costa Rica.

Pictures do not do justice to the view from this property ! Host was amazing , recommend renting ATVs , host arranged for them to be delivered for us, we loved riding them into town , to the beaches and visited Montezuma and the tide pools. We look forward to renting this property again on our next visit to the area !

The villa is gorgeous! We really loved it, the design is very unique with stunning view! The location is very comfortable, few minutes ride from the tide pools, and the other beaches of Mal Pais. Away from the mess of Santa Teresa, but yet close enough to visit for restaurents, beaches, and morning bakery. Judita was very nice and responsive, helped us with everything we needed. The house is really immersed in nature, as you live on a tree together with the wild life. Very unique place!

Lovely house, I spend a couple of days with my family, and we really enjoy que pool que the nature.
