An adorable place in the quiet and wild small town of Cogna. Extremely nice and arranging hosts ! Highly recommanded if you need a place to stay in this region of Italy.

The Sambuco holiday home is very nice, cozy and comfortable. The landscape is splendid immersed in the Tuscan hills; the view of these hills is splendid. We were twelve adults and we were comfortably accommodated, also enjoying a certain privacy because there are three independent units, each with all services and amenities. Also the pool area with all the comforts, very clean. Ultimately, we really liked it, we will definitely be back, and I can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Fabios place and were able to wind down perfectly. The house is located in a beautiful small village, perfect for relaxing and getting away from big city trouble. Fabio is a great host, we felt really welcomed and had exactly the vacation we hoped for. Thanks !

Charming holiday home with great amenities in the middle of an Apennine village. Perfect for relaxing, hiking in the area or taking a trip to the sea or Lucca. Friendly hostess!

We had a wonderful time at this special place. Nestled in the hills in a peaceful village, it offers a stunning view of the Apennine Mountains. The house is so beautiful that you could easily spend your entire stay just relaxing—on the terrace, in the pool, or cooking in the outdoor kitchen. That said, the surrounding region also has a lot to offer: amazing beaches and charming, less crowded, colorful villages. I was a bit worried about the internet connection before arriving, but the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. Sometimes there were four of us working remotely—two in the upstairs living room and two on the terrace, and we had no issues at all. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Marjolein and her husband were incredibly warm and welcoming, and communication was smooth and easy. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much!

The property is located in a very beautiful area. While brewing morning coffee, the mountains and the swirling swallows under the eaves always brought a smile to my lips. It was very hot during our visit - over 30 degrees. The private swimming pool, grill and pergola were in heavy use. Despite the heat, the lower floors were pleasantly cool and it was really nice to sleep when the sun went down. The children mentioned separately that they slept better than ever. The road runs right in front of the house, so the light sleeper needs earplugs. Own vehicle - a bicycle for the fit, a car for others - is practically necessary. You get used to narrow, winding roads - almost. Walking routes can be accessed in the forests from one village to another, so with good planning and taking advantage of bus shifts, you can make pleasant day trips to the area's adorable medieval villages. The nearest larger city, really nice Lucca, is about 60 kilometers away. The host couple's tips on places to visit and restaurants were great.

Place surrounded by greenery with very hospitable owners. The only downside is that you have to move with the car as the place isvery out of the way and you have to climb a mountain to get there. The apartments then have a defect because I feel everything between guests.. But we had a small bimbo for cuifes. We were more annoyed by us. 😅

This is one of our favorite locations we stayed at during our three week Italian vacation. We stayed in 9 different AirBnB’s and this one was top notch. It had a magical view of the Tuscany mountains, it was large and very nicely appointed. We would not mind living there 🤣. The host, Marco, was super attentive and responsive. We highly recommend this house.
