Family-friendly holiday rentals in Santorini caldera

Just as described, it was perfect !

Great from start to finish. Harry was so helpful and offered to transport us if we wanted to go to the beach or to get shopping etc. Angelo the driver is also wonderful.

This stay was fantastic, from the complimentary breakfast, to the concierge assistance renting ATVs, this trip was unlike any we have been on and Katerina helped with it all. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone! (There is a pretty good effort walk to and from the air bnb with many steps, for some it might not be super accessible) for us it was perfect!

You could not find a better location! Tucked away in the beautiful little village Megalochori, you’re out of the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns and yet still have the most amazing restaurants right at your doorstep. We were given amazing local cafe and restaurant recommendations in all the nearby villages too! The place is incredibly clean, with everything you could possibly need. Our favourite was sitting in the beautiful hot tub in the evenings, watching the sunset over the village. Truly beautiful place! Would recommend to anyone visiting Santorini!

We truly loved our stay at this Airbnb in Fira, Santorini. We had six people comfortably sleep here. The pool and hot tub were amazing amenities on the beautiful multilevel outdoor space overlooking the Caldera. Centrally located on the island in the heart of the busy shopping/restaurant area however surprisingly not loud. One bedroom is open on a loft space so a bit less private for the couple who stayed in that room but still comfortable. We hiked to Oia on our first night, got there just in time for sunset! took us about 2:45hrs with stopping for photos and meandering the busy streets. We also rented ATVs to explore the rest of the island including Pyrgos and the beaches on the other side of the island. Aristotle was very responsive and helpful with booking us transfers for our group from Ferry and to airport. Highly recommend this Airbnb for your group stay in Santorini!!

What a wonderful place to stay! The host was amazing!!

Very much matched the photos and description. Only downsides were that we had our power (and water as a result since the two are connected on the island) cut off for about two/three hours during our stay and we were a tad disappointed with the bed situation. However, the power being cut is apparently common during this time of year on Santorini and there was nothing our hosts could do about it. To help as well, they were very responsive when we reached out about the power or anything else. In terms of the bed, we were disappointed to realize that sofa bed does not mean a convertible sofa bed, it actually is just the sofa shown in the pictures and they provide linens for it. The linens are not made available either - you must request them beforehand (which we didn’t know before). Besides these two aspects, our stay on Santorini was absolutely perfect! These hosts were amazing, the place beautiful, and the hot tub was spotless. Not too many people lingered out front, which was nice.

Everything was perfect, the calm of the place, the comfort, the hospitality and the proximity to restaurants, WoW beach I highly recommend it!

Rena is an outstanding host! She arranged transportation to and from the ferry port for our group. She is incredibly responsive and kindly gave recommendations for beaches and restaurants. She checked in on us via text during our stay. She also clearly cares for her home and for her neighborhood. We would stay at her place again, absolutely. Rena’s place was perfect for our group of seven. There is a large kitchen if you care to cook, and the bedrooms are large and comfortable. There was always enough hot water for showers. The location is great—5 minutes walk to the center of Fira but set on a quiet street without much foot traffic.

This property was wonderful - and it had the best location! It was very comfortable, and had plenty of space for 5 adults. The outdoor areas were spectacular! There are two, one with seating and a hot tub, one above the roof with seating and views in every direction! The sunset from the property was absolutely breathtaking! The host and the people he worked with (thank you Timis and Dimitrios!) were so helpful - helping us arrange transportation, a boat cruise, and making a dinner reservation - and so warm and friendly. We highly recommend this property - we would definitely go again!

Our stay at Amantes Amentes was really exceptional! Kostas and his parents are extremely friendly and helped us with all our issues. The apartment was right at the beach, very clean and had literally everything we needed. I recommend anyone who wants to stay here to rent a car to get around because the apartment is far away from the popular cities. Thank you Kostas and big thanks to your parents for everything ♥️

Great spot in Oia! The place was just as described! Very clean and well decorated. Close to everything you need - shops, restaurants, small grocery stores - all within walking distance the views are absolutely amazing. You do need to be able to go up and down a ladder for the bed in the loft. Bed was very comfortable and while there is a bar downstairs it did not bother us (and they do have great drinks!). The hot tub was great in the cooler mornings and nights. Markos was very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at Alexandra’s cave house! In a beautiful area with the best restaurant we went to in Santorini nearby (Lefkes). We loved how peaceful the area was, while being close enough to walk to Oia. She was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Our stay was just wonderful, from booking the villa to leaving! They helped in every way they could. The villa was clean and perfect for our stay. Great views, perfect/spacious bedroom/living area, private and a great sized plunge pool. A huge thank you to Penelope for being so responsive at all times. She helped us with anything we needed and was so friendly! another huge thank you to Vera who bought us breakfast every morning at what time suited us. It was always delicious and she was lovely, offering to clean the villa each day!! We couldn't fault our stay! Will definitely be recommending!! Thank you again :)

This lovely place exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to have such a peaceful haven with beautiful views to come back to. The village of Megalochori was so much nicer to stay in than the much busier Oia and Fira. We rented a xar that Kostas set up for us. They delivered it to our place and picked it up. It was wonderful to return there at days end and wake up there too. In Megalochori, we gad a wonderful dinner at Olio.

Beautiful place and exceptional host. Aris met us in person and explained everything plus was very patient with recommendations, organising trips and answering questions.

Wow! George was the best. We arrived late due to a flight delay and he stayed around to wait for us so he could show us all the local recommendations. We were blown away by how much food was in the fridge for us. Every time we asked for a ride into town, George himself was there within minutes. We woke up to two amazing sunrises, which you wouldn’t get anywhere else in the island. The villa was within walking distance to Fira. We would highly recommend this air bnb, it was perfect for two couples! A 10/10 experience!

This place is amazing. Nikolaos did a great job at going over the place. It is very very clean and over all a great location. The vibe is do cool and relaxing. The location is also very good. The images are exactly what you are getting. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms and bathrooms are very cool.

This is far and away the best experience I have ever had using Airbnb. The place was amazing--even better than we expected--and Elizabeth thought of everything. She met us for check in to walk us through everything, made recommendations and reservations, and was very timely in responding to questions. I cannot recommend this listing highly enough. 1000/10!

Excellent stay that allowed us to discover the beautiful islands of Santorini. The location of the apartment is ideal for visiting as it is located in the middle of the island 25 minutes from the north or south. The cave apartment is very original, very well-equipped and true to the description (swimming pool, beautiful garden) and above all very clean (cleaned every day...). Our Host Helena was great because she took care of taxi reservations, scooter, massages... finally a discreet hostess, extremely kind who met all of our expectations. I highly recommend this listing. My partner and I stayed at Angelos for seven nights. It was a fantastic location for us south east of the island and further away from the busy areas of Santorini but so easy to drive to the local attractions around the island and easily walkable to so many of the beaches and restaurants being 5 minutes away. The unit had a fantastic private pool, it was spotless, had all the basic amenities you could want, it also got cleaned everyday which was lovely, it’s locally owned which I prefer using and the family hotel next door also served really good food when we wanted to stay in they were so friendly! Angelos was a great host very responsive and helpful with suggestions of local restaurants and attractions, which we did use so that was a big bonus. Overall this was the best relaxing holiday 100% would recommend you book Angelos place!
