Holiday rentals with beach access in São Miguel Island

We had a great time here! The view is amazing and the appartment is more then complete. Everything you need is available. The communication with Miguel was easy and he gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we arrived there was enough food for the next day, what a great service! We can really recommend a stay here, you will never forget it!

Álvaro was an amazing host, the area was beautiful and he was able to provide many recommendations on stuff to do in the area. For others like us who wanted to explore the whole island it is a great central location that can get you to all sides in under an hour. Definitely will be recommending to our friends and family who will be visiting the island, thanks Álvaro!

Beautiful view from downstairs bedroom. Enjoyed waking up to sound waves and birds. Kitchen was spotless and equipped for basic cooking. Baths also spotless. Hot tub was enjoyable. Host met us upon arrival and gave us lots of tips on what to see and where to eat. Checked on us everyday and they even clean apartment every 3 days and restocked towels and toilet paper. This is an in credible host with a great attention to detail and extremely responsive and helpful. Parking on the street was always available and we felt safe in the area. Don't pass this one up. It was perfect!!

Amazing stay! Very much enjoyed a tour around the island with Goncalo’s father, (very friendly with a good sense of humour). We saw beautiful views from all the places he took us, enjoyed an Azorian stew at Furnes and a dip in a thermal pool. The hosts went above and beyond to make us welcome, my husband enjoying playing a game of paddle with the family. The apartment was as described, clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. We did not hire a car but with the 2 day tour and walking around the local area, visiting beaches and Ponta Delgada (all walkable) we did not miss out at all. Good to get a feel for the local area & local people. Great to have the restaurant next door and the swimming area right outside the apartment! We would definitely like to return again. De hosts waren erg vriendelijk en gaven goede tips voor over het hele eiland! Het appartement zelf is ook mooi en aan alles is gedacht. Kleine dingen als een wasmand, strandhanddoek, een dekentje en een fruitmandje laten het meteen voelen als een thuis!

Epicenter was the perfect central location to explore Sao Miguel during the day, and enjoy the privacy of home at night. The neighbors are a little noisy so bring ear plugs but the amenities here made it well worth it!

Nuno‘s place offers a beautiful view from the huge terrace and lots of privacy. The interior is very tasteful and cozy. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Maria est une hôte attentionnée qui prend grand soin des invités et de sa propriété. Ses attentions sont adorables la soupe (exquise), les produits locaux et plus encore. La chambre est grande, lumineuse, avec des stores très efficaces pour la grasse matinée ou les siestes sans parler du lit si confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée, la laveuse efficace, la douche fantastique. Il faut savoir qu’il y a deux casas côte à côte, c’est bien insonorisé et on n’entend pas les invités de l’autre côté du mur. Ceci dit, on se côtoie sur les terrasses et il faut donc s’attendre à partager l’espace extérieur si les deux appartements sont loués. Je recommande vivement le séjour chez Maria, le site est idéal pour visiter l’île.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Rui was responsive and helpful whenever needed. The private terrace overlooking the ocean was the true standout. Some thoughtful touches like coffee, milk, juice, and jam were also provided for our arrival. The location in São Roque is quiet but conveniently walkable to Ponta Delgada (~30 min along a beautiful coastal path). We usually found parking in the small lot at Ilhéu de S. Roque at the end of the road, though be aware it's a narrow drive where you need to drive half on the sidewalk. If that's a concern, there’s ample parking just a short walk away on Av. do Mar. We didn’t notice much noise from the nearby Cais 20 restaurant. That said, the larger bedroom faces the street and can pick up foot traffic if windows are open. The smaller room was quieter and had better ocean sounds — we actually preferred sleeping there. Beds and pillows are basic but we slept just fine. All in all, a wonderful stay with a spectacular view.

Logement idéal pour 4 personnes, en plein centre de Punta Delgada, très bien équipé. Tout à pied (marché couvert, port...). Nous n'avons pas eu non plus de problème pour nous stationner. Très bon contact avec Jorge, très réactif et attentif à notre bien-être tout au long du séjour. Arrivée flexible et autonome très pratique. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – ruhig gelegen mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer, was für eine entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt. Die Ausstattung ist top, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Die moderne Einrichtung trägt zusätzlich zum angenehmen Ambiente bei. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die perfekte Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber – sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein großartiger Ort, den wir definitiv weiterempfehlen und bei dem wir gerne wiederkommen werden!

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

I stayed here for a week with my family (including two kids - ages 8 and 10) and we had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel - it is easy to get to all parts of the island - and is very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The recently renovated kitchen is a huge plus too - we had no trouble cooking dinner at home one night (there is a huge grocery store nearby). Laetitia was also a wonderful host, leaving a basket of local treats to welcome us, connecting us with a rental car agency, and otherwise being very helpful.

This was a very well situated home that felt private and secure. The unit was bright and clean. The kitchen was stocked with basics needed. The bathrooms were clean and modern with plenty of toilet paper (could have used tissues). We were given 2 towels (one for home and one for beach/water activities) and a hand towel. I would have liked an extra towel for the week long stay. Storage in the bedrooms was great and loved the room darkening blinds! I personally felt the beds were too firm. The couch was equally as firm. For 2 people, the living room furniture was adequate but if you’re a group of 4 or more, there isn’t enough seating. The dining table seats plenty! The balcony furniture was great and my son loved lounging in the hammock and enjoying the surrounding beauty. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk with a decent restaurant on the beach. A rental car is a necessity to get around. Being centrally located meant easy access to all the island has to offer. Great stay!

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Absolutely perfect Airbnb in so many ways - clean, lots of amenities, great location. We had 5 days here on Sao Miguel Island and Maria's condo was perfect. She left us snacks, wine and other little treats. Maria is incredibly generous and has great attention to detail. We highly recommend staying here.

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Gostámos muito da nossa estadia nesta casa! Sentimo-nos bem recebidos desde o início e a casa tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Houve uma pequena situação durante a nossa estadia, nada relacionado com a casa ou com os anfitriões, mas ainda assim foram super rápidos e atenciosos a ajudar, o que agradecemos imenso. A localização também é bastante boa: conseguimos chegar facilmente a pé ao que precisávamos. É preciso caminhar um pouco, mas faz-se bem. No geral, foi uma ótima experiência e recomendamos sem hesitar. Obrigado por tudo!

Un immense merci à Graça et Francisco pour leur accueil chaleureux et attentionné. L’appartement était impeccable, confortable et parfaitement situé pour découvrir Ponta Delgada et les environs. Leur disponibilité et leurs recommandations, notamment pour les excursions, ont grandement enrichi notre séjour. Ce fut un point d’ancrage idéal pour explorer l’île, se reposer et profiter pleinement des Açores. Une expérience 5 étoiles du début à la fin!

My wife and I had a most wonderful stay for 6 nights at the Ocean View 11. Before we committed to the reservation I could tell we had a lot in common with our hosts. We are an active, healthy athletic couple in our 70’s that love exploring, hiking, eating, conversing with locals and learning history. The unit is perfect and well described the way it is. I could always find parking within two blocks. The best rooms in the house are the awesome patio with oven view. We had all our breakfasts there. It’s quiet, spacious and modern. The malecón along the beach is awesome and great for a walk or run. I swam at the protected beach near it. The owners gave us an amazing list of recommended sites to visit and restaurants. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. We went to almost all of the sites and then some. I highly recommend this stay and we personally intend to return more to explore the extreme eastern part os Sao Miguel as well and to visit the other islands Enjoy it

We really enjoyed our stay at Sara's apartment. Everything was as described on the website. Sara was always readily available if we had any questions or concerns. The apartment was very well stocked and clean. Upon our arrival we found Sara had generously left us a welcome snack and wine. There was always free parking available in front of the apartment or across the street. After we booked Sara sent a very detailed list of restaurants, markets, and places to visit. We found all of her recommendations were nice. Note: as others have commented there is no elevator. There are a few flights of stairs to master. The stairs were very wide and we were able to manage. Make sure to use the light switch on the wall in the hallway when you first enter the building. If not the stairwell will be very dark.
