Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

It features a small private pool (3m x 4m, available from June to the end of August) and a Jacuzzi (available from May to the end of October, depending on weather conditions). You are just a 5-minute walk from the water’s edge (Dordogne) where you can enjoy the beach, stroll, admire the Château de Val, go hiking, or visit beautiful villages in Corrèze and Cantal... NATURE STOPOVER

Old low-ceilinged house, typical of the Limousin farmhouse. Comfortably restored, it has a bedroom with a double bed (+ a mattress on the floor on request), a living room (convertible sofa) with kitchenette and wood stove, separate toilet, bathroom with enameled bathtub and is extended by a veranda. The house is located in a small quiet village, surrounded by animals (horses, donkeys) 4 km from the A23 Bordeaux-Lyon exit and 65 km from the Mont Dore ski slopes.

Op 1200 meter hoogte, op een bergkam midden in het vulkanische Cantal-gebergte, word je wakker van koeienbellen en vogelgezang. Geen verkeersgeluiden — alleen open lucht en een weids uitzicht over de vallei. Vanuit het huis stap je direct op wandelroutes richting de Puy Mary. Le bois est omniprésent avec une décoration chaleureuse et des créations uniques en chêne massif. 2 chambres : une au rez-de-chaussée et une en mezzanine (non adaptée aux jeunes enfants).

Charming peaceful maisonette in the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes. It has a chill-out area with Jacuzzi, a fenced garden and two private parking spaces. Shops are 200 m from the accommodation and others in nearby towns. Champagnac is an old mining town that is close to several lakes for swimming in summer (car) as well as hiking trails. In winter, 3 ski resorts are less than an hour's drive from the accommodation.
