Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Sassi di Matera

Had a great time. Accommodation was excellent and right in the heart of the Sassi. Great restaurants and bars within minutes.

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting Matera for the Giro d’Italia. Beautiful location, lovely property. Super helpful, providing free or paid parking options within walking distance. Fresh breakfast delivery in the morning was lovely. Beds & pillows super comfy & all other facilities a great standard. 100% would stay here again.

siamo stati accolti molto bene con check in anticipato dal sig Pino estremamente gentile e decisamente molto dettagliato nelle spiegazioni del luogo che avevamo sottovalutato ma che ci sono state utili nel nostro soggiorno a Matera. La zona è tranquilla ma per arrivare al centro è meglio spostarsi in macchina. L' appartamento è abbastanza nuovo, pulitissimo e molto fresco nonostante le elevate temperature esterne. Ci hanno anche lasciato tutto l' occorrente per fare colazione. nel complesso ottima esperienza, grazie mille!

Eleonora’s place was lovely. A great location to the centre and beautiful view from the terrace, perfect place to have their great breakfast buffet or drink while you’re getting ready! A great spot as a base to explore Matera

A cute little rustic place. Well situated to exploring the Sassi area, excellent restaurants, and close to the path to cross the rope bridge and climb the mountain across the valley. The bed was comfortable. The apartment furnished with everthing the two of us needed. It was very quiet at night. The apartment was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. The only issues worth mentioning was the rickety but safe stairs to the loft, and the apartment was a little hard to find. However these are minor issues, when you consider the fantastic patio that has a commanding view of the Sassi and the mountain beyond. Wow...just wow! We loved Stefania's apartment. Grazie mille!!!

Salvatore is amazing. He went out of his way to organise our parking and help us move into his apartment. The apartment itself is very tidy and clean with majestic views of the old town of Matera. So very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay in this stunning and unusual time and being welcomed by such a friendly and helpful host really made the difference.

The view was STUNNING and the appartamento felt stylish and welcoming. If you’re going to Matera, stay here. You will not be disappointed!

Giuseppe e la sua famiglia sono stati molto disponibili e ci hanno dato suggerimenti preziosi per visitare Matera. L’appartamento è spazioso e a 10 minuti in macchina dal centro di Matera, molto comodo.

abbiamo soggiornato due notti, la casa era pulitissima, fornita di tutto ciò che poteva servirci. Aldo estremamente gentile, ci ha dato degli ottimi consigli per visitare Gravina. consigliatissimo!

Leonardantonio est extrêmement accueillant. Il est très affectif et de très bon conseil pour la visite de sa magnifique ville, Matera.

Really appreciated Francesca’s communication about the property and making us feel right at home. It was quite hot when we visited and we appreciated the portable a/c in the common rooms and fans in the bedrooms. This place is ideally located between old and new Matera and made it easy to get our stuff from our car into the Airbnb (we opted for her garage rental nearby). I felt sorry for the people staying in the Stassi lugging their stuff through the cobbled streets up and down hill. No grazie!

L’appartamento è in ottima posizione e l’ho trovato in ottimo stato, come da descrizione. La vicinanza dal centro permette di muoversi a piedi per Matera. Carmelita è stata molto gentile rispondendo sempre alle mie richieste

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's house. Everything we needed was supplied, and more. Anita brought us fresh baked goods each morning, and there was an espresso machine, with pods for us to make our own coffees. The patio and garden were especially inviting each morning and evening, and we spent a lot of time sitting outside. The house was clean and supplied with everything we needed.

Davide’s apartment is the perfect location for a trip to Matera. there was parking on the street in case you have a vehicle and it was just a quick walk into the town. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, plus lots of local recommendations were given. We traveled with our two dogs and they had a beautiful set up for them with water bowls, and treats, which was an added surprise and delight. We will definitely rebook if we plan to visit Matera again.

We stayed in Nico's beautiful apartment for 5 days and used it as a perfect base to explore not only Matera but also other nearby tourist gems like Alberobello. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the entrance of the Sassi and conveniently close to a multi-storey car park. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with a fully functional kitchen. The quiet location, combined with blackout blinds in the bedrooms, made for an exceptionally peaceful night’s sleep. Communication in English was excellent and our arrival was well coordinated. Highly recommend "Le Ferule" for anyone wanting a comfortable, well-located place to stay while exploring Matera and the surrounding area!

Le logement est incroyablement bien situé ! au coeur des Sassi et à proximité de tout à pieds. De bons restaurants se trouvent également juste à côté. Au calme la nuit, animé dans la journée. Tout était parfait !

Piermario et Antonio sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil avec la présentation du logement qui est merveilleusement équipé , tout à été prévu pour se sentir comme à la maison. Des petites attentions culinaires nous attendaient , deux vélos que nous avons utilisé presque tous les jours pour aller au marché coperto ou bien jusqu à la gare pour prendre le train ,ou aller à la plage, sans oublier la petite cour interieure, un vrai petit bijou .Ils ont pensé à tout y compris au barbecue. On n'a plus envie de repartir quand on est là bas. La situation géographique est idéale avec les transports à proximité et les magasins,restaurants etc... Ils sont très réactifs des qu un petit souci se présente. On a qu'une seule envie c est d'y retourner. Merci de nous permettre de passer un bon séjour. Brigitte et Victor

We had the most wonderful stay here. Rossella was very friendly and responsive to our messages, with helpful local recommendations. The apartment was very clean, spacious, had a lovely view to the Teatro and was close by to cafes, shops, restaurants and the old town. We will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Bari!

Nous avons été très bien reçues, les hôtes ont été très accueillants et très accommodants (nous avons pu laisser nos valises 1h de plus avant notre départ) Le logement était impeccable. La terrasse est extraordinaire! La localisation est idéale, difficile de faire mieux ! Deux petits points à noter: L’ascenseur s’entend depuis l’appartement. L’appartement est tout de même petit (pour deux amies voyageant ensemble, il faut accepter la proximité!) mais très bien agencé et très fonctionnel!
