Very well placed in relation to the old town of Matera.. We parked the car and done everything on foot. a little complicated to register on the site to pay the tourist tax

We were completely satisfied. The place was very clean and tidy. Location was perfect, everything was within walking distance.

I can hear people passing by and talking, but it's a very neat and pretty accommodation. It was such a shame that I only spent one night. It's a place I want to use again next time. The interior was full of emotion, and the terrace view was beautiful. It's not damp and it doesn't smell!

I had the pleasure of staying at Claudia’s apartment in Matera, and it exceeded all expectations. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute drive close to the heart of Matera, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, yet the apartment itself remains quiet and peaceful. The apartment is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Claudia’s attention to detail is evident, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided. What truly made my stay memorable was Claudia’s exceptional hospitality. She was always available for any questions, offering helpful local tips and making sure everything was perfect. I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit. If you’re visiting Matera, I highly recommend staying at Claudia’s apartment. It offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely return!

The accommodation is a room with a private bathroom, very nice and clean. The location is strategic because it is right at the entrance to the Sassi; for this reason, you may need to drive around a bit to find parking in the area. We were lucky to find it right away, but Angelo can help if needed. Very good and precise host, very helpful in giving suggestions on how to organize your visit. Recommended

Perfectly as described, a modern and very spacious place. We hadn't noticed, in the rush of booking, that there is no kitchen, but it was our mistake because in the presentation of the accommodation it is not mentioned. Large and convenient parking under the house. The center is just a few minutes away by car.

We spent 2 nights in this artist-decorated apartment. Very nice! Set back, so quiet and you can walk to the center. A little difficult to find parking but with luck...we get there! We would have liked to see Antonella but she was probably not available?

We throughly enjoyed our time at Filippo and Carmela’s studio . We used Castelanetta as a base to explore all the beautiful places around the Puglia/Basilicata region. The studio was a great place to ‘come home to’ after a busy day sightseeing. Carmela and Filippo were very welcoming and even invited us to watch a street procession of one of their church celebrations, which was lovely of them🙏

I stayed with my family in Laura's apartment. The accommodation is well-kept, comfortable and large, the beds very comfortable. Thanks to Mr. Angelo, co-host and Laura's father who welcomed us with courtesy and kindness, also leaving us a pleasant surprise. If the opportunity arises, we'll be back. Thank you

More than perfect! The unit was newly refinished, but with the amazing touches of vintage items giving the space an authentic feel, but new and stylish at the same time! Located literally steps away from the center of town, yet felt like I was in a small group of homes among wonderful neighbors. I enjoyed moving the table over toward the balcony to do my work and watching the neighbors go about their daily life. Two times a week a van comes by the neighborhood and sells fresh mozzarella, which I took full advantage of! It was really such an authentic, comfortable stay I can't wait to come back! Michela was very helpful answering any questions I had and gave me helpful tips for what to see on my stay. Highly recommend!!

We did not meet Mr. Giacinto directly, but he was a fair and reliable person to manage the stay online. Great location, furnished with attention to detail and excellent cleanliness. We had a pleasant weekend that we will definitely recommend to those who want to spend a few days in the enchanting Matera

It was a pleasure to stay with Salvatore because not only was the accommodation perfectly matched the description with a silent air conditioning in the room, not insignificant, but our host was considerate and has a real source of information about the must-see places to see in the province of Taranto (restaurants, beaches...) Great place to stay and explore Matera and near by areas

We loved the house. In a farm, the place is peaceful and pretty. The accommodation is rustic but quite well supplied. The dogs that roam around are extremely friendly. I highly recommend this accommodation for those looking for tranquility.

Good morning I stayed in this apartment recently. Very clean house, helpful and kind owners made me feel at home, even in the village and the people at the entrance in the guardhouse were helpful and friendly. In the evening by the pool they always organized something. I would say that if it weren't for the fact that my car broke down and this year the shuttle service didn't leave from the village, they would have been perfect. Simona

We were very well received in the house of Mrs. Tina and Mr. Vittorio, very polite, kind and helpful people. They welcomed us warmly, explained the characteristics of the apartment well, made us find the necessary for breakfast and the basic things they serve in the house. We stayed for Christmas and we were very happy to find the house adorned. The apartment is large , very comfortable in a quiet location, with ample parking. Underneath the house is the bus stop downtown, 300 meters away there is a bakery and two supermarkets,pharmacy, a tobacco bar,a grocery store. Consider that having stayed in winter, we could not enjoy the beautiful pool and garden. We recommend thisapartment to stay in Matera. Surely the next time we come to Matera , we will be happy to return to Domus Angela
