Ideally located, with a gentle stroll down to Coniston Water and a bridle path above, leading to the fells and Coniston Old Man. Half a mile from the village and opposite the Ship Inn.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

We are located in the quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for cycling and walking holidays.

Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.
