Possibility to park several cars. Registered as furnished tourist accommodation at Sauxillanges Town Hall.

The Bougnat Loft 🧑‍🌾

The main farm was built around 1720 by the Varennes family, lords of Bois-Rigaud in Usson. There is mention in the archives of the monastery of Sauxillanges of a 16th century sheepfold, still existing. 80 m2 of authenticity and tranquility with this original loft set on an isolated hill, surrounded by 50 hectares of forests, crops and meadows. Only 15 minutes from the A75 motorway but already in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park. Garden and Nordic bath.

De la fenêtre de la pièce principale , en contre-bas vue sur le joli village de Sauxillanges et à l'horizon, sur la chaîne des volcans. De l'autre côté, la terrasse donne sur un grand pré et, au loin, des bois de sapins. Cadre naturel préservé.

Come and enjoy a quiet relaxing time in this house located on a farm producing red fruits and honey. 15 minutes from the highway, 3 km from the town of Sauxillanges where you will find all amenities (Carrefour Contact, bakery, delicatessen, pharmacy, bar, tobacco...). Numerous outdoor activities nearby (swimming pool, hikes from the house, equestrian center, etc.) and other leisure activities within 13 km (cinema, escape game, cultural tours, etc.).

Le bois est omniprésent avec une décoration chaleureuse et des créations uniques en chêne massif. 2 chambres : une au rez-de-chaussée et une en mezzanine (non adaptée aux jeunes enfants).

It is conveniently located both quietly in a subdivision of a pretty village and close to Issoire, easy to access because not far from exit 15 of the A75. Perfect as a stopover for travelers or as a love nest to visit our beautiful region.

You will appreciate the cabin for its location: the breathtaking view of "Little Auvergne Tuscany" and the Chaîne des Puys on the horizon (it dominates), the forest atmosphere, access to the paths, the feeling of being in a nest. The cabin is perfect for couples, but also suitable for families (with kids) and four-legged friends are accepted (but beware, the land is not enclosed). Ideal for mountain bikers, trailers...
