Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Savigny-en-Véron

We spent 4 nights with my partner and my 16-month-old son and everything was perfect! Knowing we would arrive late the first night, Laudine had prepared the necessary for the baby's bedtime and in general had given us all the instructions so that we were perfectly autonomous, and was very responsive when we had questions, it was very appreciable! We recommend eyes closed;)

We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

We had a wonderful time at Dorothée’s place. The house is exactly how it looks on the pictures. Very cozy, stylish and comfortable. Being 4 people, all of us had our privacy without disturbing each other. The house has all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The location is very charming and peaceful for everyone who needs a good rest :) an absolute recommendation!

Very nice cozy and comfortable accommodation, decorated with taste and care. I didn't realize that the two beds were in the same room, but otherwise everything was perfect! Emilie was very responsive by message and arranged for the accommodation to be ready earlier. The village is very cute.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

A superb cottage in a quiet location with a very welcoming host. Small welcome gift with a special treat for the children too. Bed and bath linen provided, which lightens our suitcases! Clean and well-equipped accommodation! Very comfortable bedding even on the sofa, you sleep well 🤗 Narrow bathroom but, the proximity to the bedrooms is nice to finish getting ready. The host offered us a ticket to the Château d'Ussé and we loved this visit! Feel free to contact Frédéric, who is very kind.

Beautiful location, very quiet, ideal for cycling. The upstairs bathroom is difficult to use if you’re above 5foot 10 and the shower over the bath not ideal either. Bed linen and towels not included in the price but there were tea towels and bath mats and the kitchen was excellent stocked with pans and crockery . It was nice to have salt and peer and oil to start us off too

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Fiona is a responsive host who adapted to our needs and requests before and during the stay. The apartment is clean and functional for a stay of a few nights. The location is convenient for visiting Saumur and its region. I recommend it!

Fantastic place to stay in the centre of Chinon. It was great to meet Tom and his wife and he was very knowledgeable and helpful about the local area.

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

4 days as a family in this wonderful gite in the red house. The accommodation is very spacious and has a lot of character (classified house), ideally located for walking around Chinon and shining in the area. There are all the necessary amenities, the bedding is comfortable and the apartment tastefully decorated. Thanks to Nathalie and Vincent for their warm welcome and good advice, we'll be happy to come back!

Very nice apartment close to the center, the castle, shops and yet very quiet! Very well equipped and super well furnished. Great for enjoying the city.

A perfect stay at Sophie's. Quiet neighborhood, the building is peaceful. Close to the city center and the castle, overlooking the Loire, the accommodation is ideal for a stay in Saumur. All the equipment is perfect, quality, as described. We appreciated the coffee/tea bibs (for example), the ease of communication with Sophie and her flexibility on schedules (allowing us to extend the day). We keep the address safe for the next time.
