We enjoyed Ron's place very much. Everything was as described. The living space was significantly larger than the photos let on. The house is very centrally located, close to supermarket, bakery and restaurants. The way to the beach is also quite short. Nevertheless, the apartment is very quiet. We will be happy to come back.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

Great place for our family.

We (5 friends+1 dog) had very nice days in the accommodation. Great quiet rural location - surrounded by nature. Nevertheless, the way to Amsterdam is quick and uncomplicated (small tip: there is a ferry). Victor and his wife are very friendly and uncomplicated. So if you need some peace and quiet but still want to be in the city or do other activities quickly, this is the place for you. Edam and Volendam are also highly recommended. A day trip to the North Sea is also worthwhile ;-) We will be happy to come back.

A second fantastic stay in this accommodation in the heart of Volendam, the environment is peaceful and you feel at home. The house is a stone's throw from the port and public transport and there is everything you need to stay for several days

great communication and Trip Overall!

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly as described, very lovingly furnished and very well equipped! The outdoor area in particular invites you to linger and offers the best conditions for beautiful summer evenings with an outdoor kitchen (grill) and many seating options. We also used the fire bowl! But the interior also offers plenty of space to stay here with a large group and is generously equipped with the open kitchen, two seating areas / sofas and a large table. In addition, the separation between the living area (below) and the bedrooms (above) offers the possibility of meeting different sleeping times (e.g. with children). Communication worked great and fast. Overall, the accommodation is absolutely recommended!!

Great Host and great Stay. Easy Kommunikation. We did go sailing with a skipper the host kindly arranged for us, wich was a great experience.

Our stay can be described in one word: EXCELLENT!!! Maaike is a great host! She is easy to approach, is very hospitable. Her service is more than great! We know one thing for sure, we would love to come back here again!

Very nice house and great environment. You can quickly reach the beach and visit beautiful cities nearby. The house is very well maintained and the outdoor area was relaxing for us and our dog. So: a clear recommendation!

Jody and Huib welcomed us and our young sheepdog very warmly. The accommodation is simply fantastic and beautiful. Even more beautiful than the pictures show. The garden is completely fenced, which made our stay with a dog very relaxing. The location of the place is also great. 20-25 minutes to all beaches on the west coast. Approximately 50 minutes to Amsterdam. There are shopping facilities for daily needs in a supermarket about 5 minutes away by car. We definitely had a very nice vacation and can only recommend this accommodation.

We had a great time at this place. The apartment was spotless, very clean and well kept. The location is also ideal: public transport is easily accessible to visit Amsterdam. In addition, there are many shops and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient on a daily basis. I highly recommend this listing!

Very nice, good-smelling, clean and beautifully located accommodation! Kim was very friendly and accommodating! The small terrace is an asset and in the evening you can still enjoy the western sun.

Very well-maintained and modern accommodation, almost nothing to complain about, except for two small things. The bedroom with bunk and single bed is a bit small, with 3 people you will be able to sleep there rather badly. The patio door of our house could not be opened, which, however, was not so bad, as fewer mosquitoes could get inside. All in all, however, a recommended accommodation if you are prepared to travel a lot by car or want to explore the area by bike.

Frank and Tucha‘s apartment is an absolut Pearl of an Airbnb. We felt super welcomed, the apartment is as described and looks as it’s published online. Compared to other Airbnb’s, the apartment (bedroom / bathroom / livingroom and especially the kitchen) is fully equipped including all necessities and tools you‘d wished or could ask for. The interior is quite stylish and still in perfect shape. We had a couple of amazing days (pure sunshine) and enjoyed the huge garden after chilling at the beach for some barbecue or just some peaceful hours. We will certainly come back! We were allowed to use the wonderful accommodation of Nittert & family for four nights - we would have preferred not to leave. What a lucky strike: from the loving, detailed furnishings of all the rooms, to the large, perfectly equipped kitchen and the comfortable living room, to the well-maintained, lushly planted garden, where you could sit and read in peace... Such a kind of hospitality is not a matter of course. We were happy and grateful and very enthusiastic :-) We'd be happy to come back anytime!

We stayed in the area for the first time and chose the place due to the beautiful place. We had a wonderful 5 days. There was everything you needed, everything was clean and you felt right at home. The location is absolutely fantastic, lots of privacy and you walked quickly to the beach and the city. We will definitely come again! Absolute heart recommendation.
