Jan built the apartment in the barn himself. The room layout is nice. It's great that each bedroom has its own shower and toilet. The large kitchen offers more than enough space for playing and cozy get-togethers for all guests. The view of the small lake is incredibly great. The adjoining terrace is a fantastic place to relax. For the children, there are swings and a trampoline in the garden. The location and the possibilities are really special!

A great little Airbnb gem, quietly located. Within just 20 minutes you are at the beautiful beaches of the area and we wished we had more time to explore the surroundings. The house itself is perfectly clean, very cozy and you can tell how much love the hosts put in. There are many attentions such as cookies, fresh eggs, flowers, high-quality soaps, etc. The fenced garden is also great - especially for us as dog owners but also for relaxing. There is nothing missing, even in the kitchen. The only remark - and this is not meant negatively - would be that the house is not so suitable for small children due to the many pretty, but fragile/wobbly decorative objects, the steep staircase, the missing bedroom blackout, the stream next door, etc. But only as a note for parents of very small children. For everyone else: book now! This accommodation is something very special.

The location between the North Sea and Ijsselmeer influenced our decision and that was also good. The Burghorn Recreation Park is a grown place and has an ambience. The chalet is tastefully and practically furnished and there are additional equipment for different projects (actually someone lives there and has their own needs). It was just nice and uncomplicated. When an unforeseen temperature drop came, there was no problem. The necessary equipment was on site. Our dog felt comfortable. Communication was proactive or better forward-looking. Thank you!

An absolute dream stay - it doesn't get any better! We had a wonderful time in Daan's accommodation and can only rave in the highest terms. Daan is an exceptional host – incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. No matter what we needed - whether fresh firewood for the cozy fireplace or something else - Daan was immediately on the spot and supported us with a cordiality that is second to none. The house itself is fantastically beautiful: stylishly furnished, well equipped and provided with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The hot tub was a real highlight, the location wonderfully quiet and relaxing, and the trampolines in the garden were a hit with the kids. We felt completely comfortable from the first moment. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment we booked through Airbnb. The apartment was perfect for our family with three young children (2, 4, 6 years). It was spacious, clean and very well appointed. The location of the apartment was ideal as a starting point for numerous activities in the surrounding area. We were able to visit many beautiful places and enjoy nature. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from their chickens – a nice and delicious surprise! Overall, we were very satisfied with everything and can highly recommend this apartment.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Marjon and Joost’s beautiful home forest. The yurt was very clean, cozy and warm with the fire place. Waking up to the bird songs and falling asleep to the rain was just magic. A fridge and all cooking equipment was provided so we didn’t need to go anywhere to eat. We did have a wonderful cycle to the beach though which was a great suggestion from Marjon. We can’t wait to visit again ♥️

Nice, cozy house surrounded by nature, good location as in the description, you can get to the sea in 15-20 minutes. Everything you need is in the cabin. There is a private parking area for a car. We had a rest with a cat, she really liked it). Overall, I recommend it.
