Cabin holiday rentals in Schladming

Very nice house with sauna and jacuzzi tub tub. There is a large terrace with a magnificent view over the mountains. Parking is not a problem. The kitchen could use a little more utensils, but they will be retrofitted soon. Conclusion: the house is wonderful place for a quiet holiday to hike and relax.

We had an amazing stay. Andrea is super nice and very responsive, the house is beautiful and just like on the pictures including a sauna and a hot pot. We will come back for sure.

The host was great, he was very polite and was ready to adapt to our needs. The house was very cozy and beautiful. The location is great if you are planing to travel by car otherwise it is quite remote.

We had a very nice time in the cottage. The two children enjoyed the animals & the many play opportunities on the outdoor area. It was all very clean and well maintained and even more beautiful than in the pictures. Thanks to the sauna and hot tub, we were able to relax well and the view was fantastic on all sides!

Actually, you could describe the accommodation as 2-3 residential units, because the bedrooms were spread over 3 levels. So you also enjoy a lot of privacy in group. Everything was very clean, kitchen well equipped. The only point that would be in need of improvement is a shower next to the sauna. For this you had to go back into the house and either go up or down a floor. But as I said, it is only a suggestion. Thanks for everything.

We were there with a group and had a great time. The cottage has absolutely met our requirements. Everything you need is available. The view is outstanding And the whirlpool was our absolute highlight. We'd love to come back.

We were a group of four at the alpine hut for a week and loved its location and amenities! Everything worked as described by Hansi & Elke, their compiled information about the hut and activities in the surrounding area were perfect, both were always immediately available for inquiries and extremely friendly. A special highlight was the south-facing terrace with its incredible panoramic views. The cottage was equipped with all the things you need and fully corresponded to the description and photos. We can only recommend the stay in the authentic and very cozy accommodation and wish Hansi & Elke all the best!

It’s a homey, clean and sweet place. Despite the freezing weather we were never cold thanks to the floor heating. The quiet was also real nice after a day of sightseeing. I recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Romana's Hütte in Grundlsee! The cabin was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Nestled in peaceful and stunning natural surroundings, it was the perfect escape. The area itself is magnificent—ideal for anyone looking to relax or explore nature. Romana, the host, was kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Had 2 great weeks. Many outings to do in the area (all within an hour's drive from the cottage) David's recommendation (walking to the mountain lake is definitely worth it!) and then it is wonderful to 'come home' to the cottage after an active day. The cottage is very quiet, the neighbors are friendly and there is plenty of space! Everything is available (kitchen utensils, television, games, etc.) Partly due to David's hospitality, we quickly felt at ease in the cottage. A plus was definitely the sauna. Definitely worth going here!

We were looking for a cozy mountain hut and found exactly this: a wonderful cottage with plenty of space, loving furnishings and great beds. The kitchen equipment also leaves nothing to be desired! The location and the view are literally outstanding. It doesn't get any better!

Despite the initial difficulties we had a wonderful stay. Riff is a generous host, and easy to communicate with, problems were promptly addressed and quickly solved. The place itself is magical, the emptiness of the village that others found spooky actually was uplifting for us, and the quietness and the beauty of the mountains offered perfect immersion and winding down. The house is lovely and cosy, the upper store is a child’s dream - my son enjoyed it immensely. We are regulars to the area, know the neighboring ski-resort very well and beside skiing we enjoyed the local cuisine very much, or sometimes just grabbed a pizza from the village down in the valley. Johanna's log cabin is a nice house with everything you need for a short break on the Irrsee. The rooms are a bit small, but there is enough storage space to accommodate everything and to be able to move freely. Beware of bed lengths and large guests (we overlooked this in the description, but it was still possible). The large kitchen is very well equipped. With us, a pan on the induction stove did not work and Johanna was there with a new pan within a very short time! 🙂 The living area and the large, well-equipped terrace invite you to relax. A mini minus for us was that we thought the house was right by the lake. However, there is a sports/football field directly in between. Was used only a little during our stay. The lake access is within walking distance and very pleasant and quiet with a small catering station. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay for us. We will be happy to come back. 😊

Great short break!🥰 We were lucky that Simone's Knusperhäuschen was still available on our first wedding day. Everything corresponded exactly to the description and this view was 😍 a dream! Even if only briefly, but we were able to switch off and relax, the location is great and you are far away from all the stress. Thank you very much Simone that you and your family provide such a nice little cottage to others. We definitely recommend you!

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

We had a very nice time in the holiday hut of Markus. Everything was perfect, very cozy and very clean. We will be happy to come back.

I can fully recommend the place. I was looking for some peace and quiet and you definitely have it here - incl. Splashing of a stream and a few animals living on the farm. The accommodation is located in the courtyard of the hosts and everything you need or could need is there (fully equipped kitchen, even spices are there, for example, the bathroom with washing machine and bathtub). Otherwise, it is worth mentioning that the bed is really very comfortable - I rarely sleep as well away from home as at home, but that was the case here. Everything was very well maintained and clean. I lacked nothing, the hosts are always available if you need anything or have questions. And even if the accommodation is on the same property as the host, you are "on your own".

We stayed with Matthias for the 6th time and enjoyed it this year - despite bad weather - as always. If you love the peace and seclusion but also the simple, original life, this is the place to be. Matthias is a far above average host and person and it is always pleasant to see and talk to him. We will be back!

The beekeeper's house was very cozy, authentic and equipped with many loving details. We had beautiful game evenings at the tiled stove and in front of the fireplace, enjoyed the peace in nature or experienced great ski days. Constantin (landlord) was always available, but everything was self-explanatory or factual information was available. Everything was to our satisfaction and we will definitely come back, so highly recommended. An all-round successful stay, thank you so much for the wonderful time!
