The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. The house is made in a traditional way with wood and stone floor and thick walls, there is also a terrace in one side where is possible to have dinner or drinks looking at the Padre Pio square and enjoy the night breeze. Is possible to reach Scicli with a bus from Catania airport or Comiso, although having your own car to visit the neighboring area is recome

The novel "The Stone Raven" by Marco Steiner was inspired by the rocky walls of this house.
