Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

The accomodation is centraly located near to the Town Hall, very close to the High Street with walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Book a minimun of 3 night to receive a basket of snacks. Book 7 night or more to receive a breakfast pack and a bowl of fresh fruits.

Situated on a working farm a mile from the town of Selkirk makes Highfield an ideal base to explore. Highfield commands an elevated position giving panoramic views of Selkirk and the surrounding hills. Situated on The Borders Abbey Way there is easy access to excellent walking and cycling routes. For the more adventurous we are a short drive to great mountain biking routes at Innerleithen and Peebles. Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

Highfield cottage is a stone-built house on a hill at Hillhouse Farm Escapes in the Scottish Borders. This old shepherd's house is renovated to a modern & cosy standard. It has a superb kitchen with range cooker and large dining table, a huge lounge and two generous bedrooms (one is en-suite). Best of all is the stunning rural location with incredible views. It's an easy one-mile walk to a pub. Dog friendly. The house next door, a Little House on the Hill (Herniecleugh), is also available.

The perfect place to relax and unwind with only the sheep & cattle for company.

The Boe Rigg restaurant and bar is a 10-minute stroll away and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants can be found in the traditional market town of Bellingham just two miles away.

The Granary is located on a working farm in the heart of Northumberland's International Dark Sky Park. It has kitchen/living area upstairs to make the most of the fabulous views. This cottage has access to a nearby EV car charger Changeover day for week- long stays is a Friday It is a perfect hideaway for two with a cosy log burning fire, original beams, real wood floors and a lovely flower-filled garden. It is in a quiet, rural location, but still close to the M74 so a perfect stop en-route to northern Scotland or southwards to the border and England. It has an AGA, central heating, king-size beds with electric blankets, private parking, full cooking facilities and utilities, as well as it's own 'private use' garden facilities with views over sheep farms and the Moffat Hills.
