This Airbnb was absolutely amazing—just as pictured, right on the water, and in a peaceful, private location. It’s also only a short 5–10 minute drive from lots of shops and attractions, so there was plenty to do during the day. A perfect getaway!

The home is as pictured and clean. We greatly appreciated the coffee provided! This home is comfortable and it feels like everything was thoughtfully selected, not just thrown together for a rental. We loved it here! The moose wandering through the yard on multiple occasions was a real treat! A note for others looking to book: the bedroom with the twin beds is upstairs and both bathrooms are downstairs.

Oh my goodness! We loved every second at this beautiful home. James was so responsive and offered great suggestions for activities and restaurants. (Boatyard Cafe was super casual, in an active boatyard and served up the BEST halibut fish & chips!) Everything was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, tastefully & adorably decorated. Honestly~ top notch extra touches that made our stay feel luxurious. The outdoor spaces are fabulous- loved having coffee on the porch and, while we didn’t make a bonfire, we loved sitting outside in the Adirondack chairs. It was so quiet & peaceful and we slept so well. Beautiful, beautiful place that we left reluctantly. Can’t wait to return to Alaska and stay with James again!

What a find! The husband and I spent the day exploring Homer after driving in from Anchorage - this was the perfect no fuss stop before we turned back to Anchorage. This property is a great work in progress. We appreciated seeing Christian’s vision for his rental business. I appreciated the attention to detail. This is a step above glamping, and I am 100% here for it. The bathroom/shower room is cozy but extremely functional. I see fantastic growth for this property, and we’ll be back to support it!

Suzie's place was wonderful! Arrived in Seldovia for a couple days trip to bike around and explore. Her place was perfectly located within the historic boardwalk area with easy access to local roads and trails. The weather was pretty soggy for while we were there - we didn't mind! - but we very much appreciated Suzie offering us boardgames and an extra late check out to let us stay cozy while waiting for the ferry. We hope you have a great winter, Suzie, and thanks so much for hosting us <3
