Holiday rentals with a patio in Sfakaki

Vicki was an excellent host, we were there for our honeymoon. She went as far as to get us flowers and champagne, which was a very nice thought, and she even helped me with car rentals and getting instructions how to get from the airport to her location. Overall, an excellent host in the place was very good. We were communicating over what’s app and it was very smooth and easy

Nous avons absolument adorées notre séjour au Penthouse. Nous sommes un groupe de 3 couples avec deux bébés. La disposition du logement était parfaite. Nous avions chacun une chambre avec salle de bain et balcon ce qui nous permettait de tous avoir un peu d’intimité. Le logement est très bien insonorisé également. L’hôte avait laissé avant notre arrivé deux lits de bébés avec plusieurs couvertes chaudes et propres à l’intérieur, ainsi que deux chaises hautes bien équipées. Il y avait même quelques jouets pour bébé. Que dire de la propreté des lieux. C’était tout simplement parfait. Après quelques jours, nous avons même eu droit à un ménage complet et en profondeur des lieux. Finalement, le localisation est plus que parfaite. Vous êtes situés au abord de la vieille ville. Vous sortez du Penthouse et à quelques pas seulement vous y trouverez d’excellent restaurants, cafés et boutiques. Le port en soit est à seulement quelques minutes de marches. WoW je recommande vivement!

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, mit allem was man braucht. Direkt am Strand. Blick vom Balkon ist einfach traumhaft, wir haben es genossen jeden Morgen da zu frühstücken. Das Auto konnte man problemlos auf der Straße abstellen. Würden die Wohnung jede Zeit wieder buchen ohne wenn und aber.

Being a host myself, I am super attune to the details. This space is perfectly situated right on the water's edge with gorgeous Juliette balconies and large French doors that let the ocean breeze in. The driver let us off near the main square and we walked along the water with baggage in tow. Directions were spot on...great way to 'make an entrance' into this amazing gem of a spot. The space was perfect and had everything we needed to decompress and relax. The town has everything you need from restaurants to historical ruins to little shops. 4 days was not near enough to explore all the little streets. The cohost, Silver, was beyond amazing and accommodating. We didn't pre-plan any excursions until we arrived. When we decided on an itinerary she was on it with recommendations AND connections to make it all happen. We were treated like family. What else could you ask for?! 5-stars plus plus. My girlfriend and I stayed at the apartment for 7 nights, we found the apartment perfect for what we had planned for our holiday. The staff were extremely helpful and replied to messages and calls promptly when we needed them. I would recommend this apartment to anyone considering it.

If you’re trying to decide, just book it! This was probably my favorite place in Greece that we stayed. Great location, wonderful terrace. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of little extras that made us feel at home like creamer for coffee, toast with jam and honey. Wash machine was a bonus. Great communication. Would book again without hesitation!

Wie kann man etwas Perfektes beschreiben? Ein kleines Juwel im Paradies! Die Gastgeber charmant, hilfsbereit und sehr liebenswert. Die Bar nebenan einfach top. Matala hat den Zauber nicht verloren. Hier scheint die Zeit etwas langsamer zu gehen. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Wir werden unsere zwei Hauskatzen sehr vermissen. Herzlichen Dank und hoffentlich bis nächstes Jahr❤️

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Leonidas’ seaside apartment in Almyrida! Cannot say enough positive things — gorgeous view, spotless and well designed apartment, amazing shower, washer and drier, quiet bedrooms but the semi outdoor porch is right on the main road by great restaurants and beach lounge chairs. Perfect location. Spacious kitchen great for those who want to cook - can enjoy breakfast and sunset dinner on the porch with high tech retractable roof so you can get more or less sun, or more breeze. Leonidas was kind, flexible, responsive and eager to assist despite being a busy professional manager. He offered many recommendations without me asking and was proactive about check in and check out at our convenience. We hope to be back and stay here again soon, we love Crete and truly enjoyed our stay here! Thanks again Leonidas for your kind and professional hosting. Hope to see you again one day! - Annaleah

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. We had such a great stay at Wioletta’s apartment! It’s even more beautiful than on photos, we had everything we needed and even more. The area is very calm but close to the city center of Rethymno by car. Wioletta was a perfect host, always responding quickly and ready to answer any questions we had. We definitely recommend it!

Zum zweiten Mal haben wir dieses wunderschöne Haus genossen. Es war ein Gefühl von nach Hause kommen. Auch als wir gesundheitlich in Not kamen, wurden wir bestens versorgt und bekamen großartige Hilfe. Wir können dieses Haus wärmstens empfehlen, es ist wirklich toll und wir haben so gut geschlafen, wie lange nicht mehr. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder…

Wow what a place! Stunning location and beautiful villa. Manto was the perfect host going above and beyond expectations, from the steady supply of wine to a home cooked lamb dinner in the wood stove one night; honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. A lovely experience all round and can’t wait to return.

One of the most beautiful views ever right from your window and terrace. The sea, the mountains and the typical charm of a Greek village. The house is modern and very clean, the bathtub with the view is amazing and you can see the city lights far away at the other shore. Beautiful nature, very quiet but near (with the car) to other small villages and towns and bigger cities like Chania or Rethymno. Dimitris is the perfect host, there was a little welcome basket waiting with delicious greek Christmas treats and you could message or call him whenever you needed anything. I couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful place to stay! It’s paradise and I will 100% visit again.

Truly beautiful home. Very new, modern and clean. The location is excellent and the view from the large outside area is spectacular! We hope to visit again. The host was proactive and very responsive to any questions we had.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Konstantinos und Stelina, die eine wunderschöne Wohnung für ihre Gäste zur Verfügung stellen. Wir waren begeistert von der Aufteilung der Räume, sehr modern mit bodentiefen Fenstern, einer Küche, in der nichts fehlte (selbst eine Salatschleuder und ein Messbecher waren da!) und mit einem komfortablen Bett. Die Handtücher werden jeden 3. Tag gewechselt und die Bettwäsche jeden 5. Tag, echter Luxus! Es duftet sehr angenehm, Dank der gut ausgesuchten Duftstäbchen. Für mich ist eine gut riechende Wohnung immer sehr wichtig und das haben wir ebenso sehr geschätzt. Der Balkon ist luftig und nach 10:00 im Schatten, da lässt es sich angenehm aushalten und der schöne Blick auf die Souda Bay ist einfach herrlich. Zur Innenstadt sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto, man ist also schnell im Zentrum, aber abends auch schnell wieder draußen. Ideal für Menschen, die das Stadtleben genießen wollen, es aber lieber etwas ruhiger haben möchten. Danke nochmals für alles!!

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Anastasia & John. L'appartement, spacieux et joliment décoré, est bien situé pour se balader dans la région de Chania. L'emplacement est central, on peut facilement se rendre à pied sur le front de mer, tout en étant au calme. Nous avons spécialement apprécié la grande terrasse verdoyante et la literie très confortable. Enfin, le contact avec Anastasia et John a été très facile, ils nous ont gentiment accueillis malgré notre heure d'arrivée tardive, et avec un petit plateau d'accueil et des conseils de restos. Fantastinen paikka! Kaunis asunto upealla sijainnilla. Viiden hengen perhe majoittui täällä mukavasti, hyvät sängyt. Upea olohuone ja huikea parveke/terassi esteettömällä merinäkymällä 😍 Oli kiva käydä aamu-uinnilla, kun ranta oli kadun toisella puolella! Noin 15 minuutin kävely vanhaan kaupunkiin, paikkaan mihin ihastuimme täysin! Autopaikka kätevästi pihassa ja ruokakauppa ihan vieressä. Stratoksen kanssa kaikki sujui hyvin, erittäin mukava ja reagoi nopeasti kysymyksiin ja tarpeisiin. Olimme todella tyytyväisiä että valitsimme juuri tämän asunnon upeasta Rethymnosta!

Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

Die Gastgeberin Despina ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die sehr schnell antwortet und sich um alles sofort kümmert. Die Wohnung ist groß und sauber und verfügt im Wohnzimmer und den beiden Schlafzimmern über eine Klimaanlage. Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort Ferien machen.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

Onze week in deze accommodatie was werkelijk onvergetelijk. Vanaf het eerste moment voelde het fijn. We arriveerden laat in de avond, maar dat was voor Anna, onze lieve gastvrouw, totaal geen probleem. Ze stond klaar met een warm welkom, er lag een schaal vers fruit, water in de koeling. Het is werkelijk aan alles is gedacht: van keukenuitrusting tot strandspullen, speelgoed voor kinderen. De inrichting is zowel stijlvol als kindvriendelijk, wat het verblijf voor ons als gezin extra comfortabel maakte. Buiten wachtte ons een prachtig uitzicht, en de ligging is perfect: binnen 10 minuten wandelen bevind je je al in de gezellige en historische Old Town. We hebben genoten van de rust, de natuur, het comfort en de gastvrijheid. Deze plek is met recht een verborgen juweeltje en wij zouden het zonder aarzelen opnieuw boeken. Absolute aanrader!
