Holiday rentals in Shelton

The Bayview Bungalow was the perfect place to unwind for a few days and celebrate my favorite person & pup! The first thing we noticed when we arrived was how perfect of a sunset view we had! There's direct access to a little private spot on Oakland Bay with tons of shellfish around as well as seals, otters, eagles, tiny Water Jellies (harmless), and other critters constantly making appearances. The otters were our favorite part! My dog, Susu, loved sniffing around the beach during low tides and watching all of the little crabs. Eric is such a thoughtful host with so many little things in place to help you feel cozy and at home. He even made sure the house was nice and cool upon our arrival and had a nice, fresh bowl of water and comfy dog bed set out for Susu. NOT a complaint but note that the grocery store nearby seemed to be pretty low on/out of high-demand summer basics (after-sun-care, firewood, s'mores etc.), but we easily found a copious amount of firewood to buy from a local!

Just as described and then some! Quiet, quaint, peaceful, comfortable, great location, and a very comfortable bed! Cassie & Garrett are helpful and responsive hosts for their lovely wooded enclave that is definitely close to everything you will need yet you still feel like you are alone in the woods!

This Airbnb is in our top three of all the Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! We enjoyed every amenity from the kayaks, to the hot tub, the porches and the views. It is so beautiful here and relaxing, not to mention the hosts left us so many goodies to start our stay with and a sweet note. Our kids rated the couch at this Airbnb as #1!! It was so cozy and we could all share the space for movie nights. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds are super comfortable. We were there during some really hot days and the hosts worked with us to keep the home cool. Any questions we had they responded quickly and were great hosts. I highly recommend this Airbnb and we would come stay here again in a heartbeat! We also loved the area as it is more secluded and away from the city. We took the ferry from Bremerton into the city and that worked out beautifully! It was a great midpoint to ONP, Rainier and Leavenworth which were our day trip destinations. We also saw otters, seals and jellyfish!

This place is a gem if you’re looking for a peaceful stay or a fun place for a family. The hosts thought of absolutely everything. The cabin was adorable, fresh, incredibly stylish. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. And the hosts were friendly and so welcoming. The setting is so pretty and private with tons of birdwatching and deer traveling through. Couldn’t ask for better!

Alex provided a small house, consisting of one bedroom with a queen bed and a full private bathroom in the hallway. There is also a comfortable pull-out sofa bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen and laundry in the house. He has a strong heater and an air conditioner/dehumidifier unit. The place is spotless. Also on the property is a separate small dry/wet sauna, and a separate yoga studio. The design and aesthetics are quite calm and relaxing. The property is part of a large development alongside the southern portion of Lake Cushman, and you a provided a pass to use the private parks and docks in this neighborhood. The house is about 20 minutes away from the Staircase portion of Olympic National Park, and is about 7 minutes from the town of Hoodsport, which has a nice grocery store. There is a detailed instruction manual in the house, which is helpful to figure out how to operate some of the amenities. Alex was immediately responsive to questions. Overall, an amazing place.

We had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend! The home was immaculately clean, and the views of the Hammersley Inlet were absolutely breathtaking. The house itself is incredibly spacious and comfortably accommodated our entire family. The atmosphere is both unique and creatively designed—such thoughtful touches throughout. The host was extremely responsive and gracious, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish. We especially appreciated how well-organized everything was; the clear labels and operating instructions made navigating the home super easy. It’s clear the hosts have truly thought of everything to make guests feel welcome. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

It was very comfortable inside and beautiful outside. The view from the upstairs is so peaceful and beautiful! I would have to say if you have children with you be aware the water in the house gets extremely hot! And the outlets don’t have child protection.
