Recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as for stays of one or more nights as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing transfers, are available for a fee ranging from 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange car rental, so please discuss this with us in advance. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
