You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it is a time when you can enjoy the slightly quieter atmosphere of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. Recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as for stays of one or more nights as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing transfers, are available for a fee ranging from 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for trips within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange car rental, so please discuss this with us in advance. (Kohana = tree ice in the Nagano dialect) The facility is a large 1 LDK villa in the forest of Kurohime. Located right by the Shinanomachi Interchange, with Lake Nojiri about 5 minutes away, this property offers year-round enjoyment with plenty of activities. Recommend 2 nights or more (discounts available) Seven people is the best number. In the summer it is cool and the water is cold. - In the cold winter of 10 degrees Celsius, you can stay warm and comfortable from your feet with underfloor heating. Two toilets and the first floor are flat floors, so you can use them safely from children to the elderly. Kurohime Ski Resort is a 5-minute drive away, and there are numerous ski slopes within a 30-minute radius, offering a variety of terrain to enjoy. We offer free rental of a simple BBQ grill and fire pit. On rainy days, you can play darts, Jenga, or table tennis indoors, or visit the nearby hot springs and saunas. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. 　Guest House Rin is located at the edge of a rice field at the foot of Mt. Kurohime in northern Nagano Prefecture. The farmhouse warehouse has been renovated, so it is spacious enough to relax in the living room with an atrium and the bedroom in the loft. Please have a quiet time under the thick beams that have withstood the wind and snow for a long time. Large dogs can also stay with you. 　Shinano is a town blessed with mountains and lakes. There are also paddle boarding and canoeing on Lake Nojiri, cycling along the lake, and forests where you can enjoy forest therapy. In winter, you can access the Ginjo Gondola, the Kurohime Slope, and nearby ski resorts. Kurohime's slopes have a dog run in both summer and winter, and in winter there is also a lift that you can ride with your pets. 　If you have time, we also recommend taking a walk along the rice paddies that extend to the distant ridge line. 　It is about 10 minutes from Shinanomachi Interchange and about 20 minutes from Shinshu Nakano Interchange. There are many attractive tourist spots in the surrounding area such as Joetsu, Shiga Kogen, and Togakushi. 　The kitchen is also equipped with cooking utensils, so I think you will enjoy cooking. 　 　There are 2 beds in the loft and 3 futon sets in the back room. 　Please note that the area is rural, so there may be times when you can hear farming work.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
