We loved Chantelises's place! It was a little oasis. We loved the garden, flowers, goats, chickens, and ponds. Also, our 13 year old lived on the trampoline! We also loved the cabin we stayed in. It was adorable and cozy. At night, we turned on the little space heater, which looked like a wood burning stove, and it not only added warmth, but added even more to the wonderful atmosphere. Personally, I enjoyed sitting outside on the chair swing listening to the birds and watching the goats and chickens. It was truly magical.

I've stayed in at least a half dozen other airbnb places in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area over the last years, and this location was by far the nicest. It's very quiet and nicely appointed; easy parking and easy access; close to downtown Palo Alto; and above all, Bob was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate and responses were almost instantaneous. I hope to have the chance to stay again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

⸻ I had such a wonderful two-week stay at the farm. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly—especially the sweet little black cat named Teva, who wore a green collar and quickly became a favorite companion. Toni was so kind and responsive, always making sure everything was just right. The farm felt very safe and peaceful throughout my stay. Being in a cabin on a farm, a few bugs are to be expected, but it wasn’t an issue—I came prepared with essential oils, which worked well to keep them at bay. The cabin itself is cozy and compact, but the many windows let in so much natural light that it felt bright and open. The shower was great too—good water pressure and ventilation, though it might be a bit snug for some. Overall, it’s a lovely little escape—close enough to San Jose for convenience, but with a feeling of peaceful seclusion that makes it feel like a true retreat.

simply Laura's family are so wonderful hostess, beautiful persons and the house is very nice place, peaceful, beautiful and for my wife and I will be thinking to return again soon.

I love Tom's place! This was my second time staying. It is a beautiful oasis. Super quiet, peaceful, comfortable space, perfect for writing, working, and rest away from the city, yet still convenient to all the amenities of Los Altos. Tom is a lovely host and goes out of his way to be accommodating. This is one of only a few affordable and high quality Airbnbs in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The garden is full of flowers and eucalyptus trees, and the spa is peaceful and private. The space is bright, very clean, and has all the amenities you could need. The bed was super comfortable and the comforter nice and warm. We especially loved the owner’s artwork displayed throughout the cottage—it adds such a personal touch. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. Tilden Park is just 10 minutes away and perfect for nature walks. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely come back!

this was such a luxurious, relaxing stay! sparkling clean, smelled fresh and looked like no one had ever stayed before me. there’s perfectly placed storage for everything, beautiful applinces, a dreamy shower and extra comfy + cozy furniture. you can open it up to feel even bigger with the patio, i enjoyed most of my meals and wine out there with a book. this space was a reprieve for me with enough nature to relax without committing to being outdoorsy. the property as a whole is beautiful and secluded while remaining conveniently located— i love having the combination of privacy but a nearby host as a solo traveler to feel comfortable. do yourself a favor and stay here with your partner, bestie or take a solo couple days off like i did. PS — any plant based friends MUST try Blossom & Root in downtown Danville, amazing food and drinks!

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin and were very comfortable. Tera and family were so sweet and helpful. Thank you for everything!

This continues to be a lovely place to stay and our favourite in the region. We have stayed at this location a few times over the past few years. The care and cleanliness are kept up and the garden is always beautiful. This season it was yellow roses and blossoms on the strawberry plants. Thanks Tamara and Tim for your extra help with a parcel delivery. We hope to return on another trip.

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

Eugenia’s place and Eugenia and her husband are fantastic… One of the most comfortable organic cotton beds I’ve ever slept on, the most enchanting, beautiful property, and every appliance state of the art, efficient and intentional with the touch of love. Eugenia brought me teas, and various unconventional items I asked for. And the natural light and airflow were wonderful. And very healing and the most peaceful and healing neighborhood I’ve stayed at in the East Bay. For anyone looking for a healing retreat, Book this place as soon as possible

Nice little cabin in the woods, big comfy bed, cozy. My dog and enjoyed walking the creek behind the cabin.

This place is magic! I was traveling alone and thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and gorgeous space. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen had everything I needed. Outdoor living room was magic - especially at night with the fairy lights. I’d absolutely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

I really enjoyed my time at George’s cabin. It was so incredibly peaceful. The room and the bathroom were very clean and smelled great. The bathtub is amazing, and I loved taking a bath every afternoon. My phone is att and it worked a little for texting, but that’s it. And I loved that. It was great to be removed from the world, but also able to quickly drive to so many great locations. I went on a hike within 30 minutes of the house every day and all were beautiful. George gave me plenty of space, but I did get to meet him, and he was so friendly and kind. Totally recommend this place!

My stay at Liriola and Ramsey's place was perfect and exactly what I needed! Their place is not only charming and easy to locate, but also in a safe neighborhood which gave me peace of mind as a solo, female traveler. They were so helpful and kind during my stay and I would definitely book with them again!

Overall, I had a great stay at the cottage! In a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood (great for walking your dog). The cottage itself was spacious - loved the mini-split AC units and the small enclosed front yard. Highly recommend staying here while in the bay!

We were lucky to find an opening for the dates we needed it for. Everything provided for the 3 of us visiting. Very quiet neighborhood - you just have to pass through several businesses to get to the place but once you are the property, it is peaceful and quiet. Love the attention to detail, and the walkway lights were all solar powered and triggered by motion detectors and they all worked flawlessly. Check in instructions were missing in Airbnb page but a quick message to the host and I received a response immediately with the necessary information. very responsive host. Thanks for everything.

Description and the pictures were all accurate. Very easy walking distance to the BART station with easy access into SF. House is very private and in a nice area. Polina was extremely helpful with making recommendations for SF. Would certainly recommend.

Place was gorgeous and exactly like the pictures. Very secluded, and is right across the street from a trail into the park. I saw Maggie upon arrival peacefully playing her guitar, and did not see a single soul for the rest of the trip. The fact that the bathroom is shared is almost not noticeable, it was extremely clean the whole time I was there and I never encountered the other tenant. The bed was very comfy, there was all the plates/silverware/cups two people will need, and all listed amenities were included. Check out was very simple with limited requests! Overall, I will be checking this listing first the next time I need to stay in the bay area!
