Welcome to our oasis of tranquility. Being located on a historical and green location in the Achterhoek, you can fully enjoy the nature. Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Nowadays, the location still resembles a fairytale’s beauty. The cottage is comfortably equipped with facilities as a large private terrace, multiple unique bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Cozy vacation home in the Achterhoek, rural location but still close to the village of Silvolde. On the property are several hobby animals, a trampoline, go-karts, large garden around with a HOT TUB, Finnish wood-fired barrel sauna, BBQ, patio heater, garden furniture. The house has a large play attic. There are 10 beds for adults, but there are also camping beds. The house is a real family home, so I don't rent to groups of friends under 40 years of age. We are fond of peace and quiet.

The birds that ring in the day and the birds that ring in the night. You can see the landscape from a higher perspective. You look at the world a different way, from above. Sleeping in a tree, literally sleeping among the branches, is an indescribable experience.

This stylish accommodation is perfect for when you want to enjoy the Achterhoek. Enjoy a glass and a bite to eat in the "own" patio garden, after a wonderful bike or walking tour. The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. There are also many birds, hedgehogs and rabbits in the garden. A BBQ is available on the terrace excl. gas bottle.
