the house had everything we needed, and Terisa always answered . the house is a bit far from Amsterdam by public transport so take it to consideration. we had a good time in the house with a very kind welcoming when we came. great value for money!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We were a group of girls at Leon's house. It was really super nice, everything you need and much more! And I liked it a lot. The house was clean and it is really fast to go to Amsterdam by public transport or car. We will be back!

There were three of us with my cat and we all felt very comfortable! A lovingly furnished apartment in a perfect location. The bathroom is a bit small but serves its purpose. We will certainly come back again! Annette is a very nice hostess!

Karin's stay was great. Everything was neatly clean and as described in the advertisement. The beach is a 30-minute walk away. First through the forest and then through the beautiful dunes. Shops are easy to reach. In short, we enjoyed and I will definitely recommend Karin's accommodation.

We were with friends in Ilinca's apartment. The accommodation is very well maintained and really nice. The stairs up are a bit steep, but we got along great with that. In addition, Ilinca was always quick to reach and was able to help us. We were all very happy and had a wonderful holiday! The location of the apartment is perfect, because everything can be reached on foot and the sea is only a few minutes away by car. All in all, we are more than satisfied and would be happy to come back ☺️

Hugo was the perfect host from check in to check out. He was a wealth of knowledge and his property is truly stunning. We cycled from Dunkirk and after 3 days of hard cycling wanted somewhere nice to relax. This place did just that. Hugo was very accommodating and couldn’t do more to help. Thankyou Hugo for being a credit to Airbnb. ( your dog is nice too! )

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

Very sweet cottage, in an absolutely quiet location. The garden is well established, so you have privacy and can go there with anxious dogs. Everything was super clean and beautifully decorated. A perfect place for nature lovers, you can even see small parrots and a black swan we have also seen! The check-in was hassle-free and the contact was also very friendly! We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful, small accommodation right on the water. Rik also has chickens, a rabbit and a pig. The children particularly liked this. Since it is a tiny house, it is only suitable for small children/babies to a limited extent (ladders and steps cannot be secured). We had a lovely stay and would be happy to come back

We had a lovely holiday at Ingeborg's house. It was spacious for our family and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house had its own jetty by the canal and plenty of room to sit outside and in the patio depending on the weather. We parked our car easily outside the house and went with public transport into town. The only thing that could be noted is that the kitchen could have been better cleaned. But the overall experience was great!

I stayed at this place for 4 days. The surrounding area is beautiful, I just love IJburg. The place is spacious and exactly as described. The outside area with the terrace is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Watching the sunset and the pastel-coloured sky from the terrace alone is worth the money. Even though we did not cook , the kitchen is amazing and well equipped. The beds were cozy and comfortable. Both hosts were very friendly, polite and responsive. Even when a faux-pas happened to us on the last day, it was handled very nicely and luckily it got solved without many issues. I appreciated the understanding way communication a lot. Our stay was perfect. Thank you both.

the accommodation is as advertised. It's an old barge... with the pros, exotic, unusual, and the cons, be careful with the water... but everything is said in the description so there are no bad surprises. Harold is very welcoming. We arrived by train, he picked us up at the first tram stop, which was a real plus. Access to the center of Amsterdam is 20 minutes either by tram 26 or bus 37, 10 minutes' walk from the boat. bike access to nice fishing villages in 30-45 minutes (very nice ride). In short, very happy with this family stay.

We had a great stay in Tesse's and Tim's apartment and instantly felt at home! The apartment is located in a quiet area, but is still well connected by bus and tram. A supermarket is within walking distance. The communication with the hosts was very friendly and we received feedback quickly.

If you want a true taste of Amsterdam, Jaap’s place is a perfect fit. The historic accommodations right on the canal make you feel like one of the residents. Sitting on the boat and watching the other canal boats go by was a favorite pastime of our stay. Nighttime was gorgeous with the lights on the boat and the city reflecting in the water. Inside, the space was so unique and perfectly accommodated the four of us! Stores to purchase delicious baked goods and groceries were nearby as well as places to sit down and grab some local fare. We loved our stay here and already are talking about how we can come back to Japp’s amazing canal boat! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to share in a true taste of this very special city!

In addition, there are many shops and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient on a daily basis. I highly recommend this listing!

Monika was a fantastic host - not only was her place exactly what our group needed for our brief one night stay in Amsterdam, but she was also super helpful and kind. She was super responsive leading up to our trip, provided restaurant recommendations near her home and ultimately met us at the Airbnb and kindly gave us a walkthrough of the entire home that we found very helpful. Winnie’s communication was impeccable, she couldn’t have been more welcoming. I went for a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend, and Winnie could not have done more, the decorations the complimentary Prosecco and she even sorted out a personalised cake for him! The location is great just a short 15 min walk into the centre, or 10 mins by tram. Two supermarkets right around the corner and a lovely cafe serving breakfast lunch and dinner. An information form was left for us about the area and recommendations which we certainly looked at- you must visit the local Windmill brewery!! The place was clean and so cosy, big TV with Netflix and a lovely balcony to take in the evenings atmosphere! The kitchen also has everything you would need and spotlessly displayed. Cannot recommend staying at Winnie’s place enough, we fell in love with Amsterdam after only 1 week. Safe to say we will be back soon and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else apart from Winnie’s🥰

Birgit and her home are so wonderful! Birgit was so helpful showing us around the home and so gracious when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay another night. The home is clean and beautiful. We had plenty of space and loved having a quiet space after a day in a busy city. We hope to stay here again!
