There are beautiful cycling and hiking routes in the area. The mountain bike trail of Schoorl is 5 km away. Cities in the vicinity are Schagen and Alkmaar. Op het park zijn speelveldjes ,een kinderboerderij en een tennisbaan. De gehele tuin is afgezet, dus uw hond(en) kan los in de tuin. Ter hoogte van de ingang is een supermarktje ,fietsverhuur. Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is NO kitchen.

Heerlijk vrijstaand huisje met 500m2 tuin bij strand en Zee! Tuin is af te sluiten. 10 minuten fietsen tot het strand of 25 min. lopen. Parkeren op eigen terrein bij het huisje. (gebruik van 2 fietsen) Kinder bedje, kinderstoel, bolderkar, zandbak, spelletjes en wat speelgoed aanwezig. Hottub kan maximaal 1 week voor aanvang, in overleg bij gehuurd worden. Deck and wheelhouse in Hoorn (parking available)

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!
