The area is one of the older established cabin areas on Sjusjøen, with plenty of space between the cabins and without access, here you can feel alone in the mountains. The cabin is located high and nice on Heståsen with ski slopes 30 meters from the door, here you can go straight out at Heståsmyra and further out on the snow mountain.

In summer there are nice swimming opportunities in Sjusjøvannet, which is a 7 minute drive away from the cabin. It is a 40 min drive to Hunderfossen It is 38 min drive to Hafjell It is a 24 min drive to Lillehammer city center
