Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Skiathos

We had a great time at the island. The apartment was clean and tidy. The landlords had the apartment cleaned after three days of stay and brought us, as it got a little colder, a thick blanket past, very pleasant. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating and took good care of us. The only deductions would be the very low blankets, my partner has constantly hit his head😅. The equipment of the kitchen also leaves something to be desired, such as cutting board and a sharp knife. Otherwise, all in all very pleasant apartment in a somewhat secluded and rugged location. We will be happy to come back! ☺️

A magical place we’ll never forget! This house was everything we hoped for and more. Beautifully restored with so much character — the stone walls, wooden beams, and cozy decor made it feel like a true island home. We loved sitting on the big veranda with our morning tea, listening to the sounds of nature, and watching the sun move across the sky. The place was spotless and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The upstairs bedroom was a peaceful little retreat. The location is perfect — quiet and private, yet close to Skopelos town and beaches. We left with wonderful memories and would happily come back again. Thank you for everything!

The hosts Mrs. Maria and Mr. Dimitris were very helpful at all times. They were extremely friendly and polite. Dimitris picked me up from the bus stop on the day of arrival. Maria was waiting in the apartment with a great cake. She also provided me with a bag of Greek mocha coffee. This allowed me to make my own coffee every day. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the beach. It is well equipped. Supermarket and taverns within walking distance. The hosts gave me good tips for excursions. On the day of departure, Mr. Dimitris made sure that I was picked up by the taxi on time. I enjoyed my 5-day stay here very much and I am very grateful to the hosts for that!

Lovely studio. Amazing surrounding area. The host was very helpful and answered questions as well as gave us recommendations in the information packet in the studio. The place was very clean. The host was very welcoming at check in and very easy to contact.

Our stay at Eleni’s beautiful Greek house was nothing short of magical. One of the highlights was her generosity in supplying fresh vegetables, eggs & olive oil all from her property. We were treated to several delicious authentic local dishes which reflected the region’s rich culinary traditions, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. The house itself was a stunning example of authentic Greek architecture, with charming details that gave it a unique character. The view was breathtaking—panoramic scenes of the sparkling sea and distant islands. Whether enjoying a meal on the terrace or relaxing with a glass of wine, the landscape made every moment special. This stay was more than just a vacation; it felt like an immersion into Greek culture, thanks to the host’s warmth and hospitality. We had a very good stay at Steve and Fiona’s place. They were kind, helpful, and flexible, especially with the check-in process, which made everything much easier. They even waited for us after our flight to personally show us the way to the accommodation, which we really appreciated. The place was clean and just as described. Future guests should note that parking isn’t right at the property because of the steep, rocky road, so there’s a short walk involved. That said, Steve and Fiona kindly helped us with our luggage. The location has lovely views, and the neighborhood is quite peaceful, with just the occasional sound of a barking dog. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience.

We adored our stay at Thavama Summer House. The location and view from the living room are stunning, and I could have sat there for hours!🌊🍋 The accommodation iwas clean, bright, comfortable and we felt right at home- with everything you need for a stay. The terrace is so lovely to sit out on for any time of day. 💛 The location is peaceful, however there is a kiosk only a 3 minute walk away, a gorgeous beach 5 minutes away, and you are only 10 minutes away from the beautiful town and harbour. We didn’t have a car and everything was so accessible by foot.There is also a bus stop right outside and the bus links are excellent and such a good price! 🐚🚌 Thanasis is such a responsive and friendly host- answering our questions, including about transport from the airport, he came over to show us how to use the thermostat as we asked about this, and had the property cleaned, linens changed, etc, halfway through our stay! 💕 Check-in and finding the house was easy. Just what I needed! A quiet and tranquil place to unwind and recharge the batteries. What a location! And what a host! Haven’t met him in person as he was away but his father and mother who live just above the abode, ensured every area as covered and were just so very friendly and welcoming! In addition, Mr Lambros was kind enough to pick me up upon arrival to Glossa and dropped me off at the port upon check out. Definitely worth a stay! Try for yourselves!

We had a great time in the apartment, Alexandros made sure we had everything we needed. We always had breakfast on the terrace. We enjoyed the beautiful beach just a 5-minute walk away, where we went down every morning for a swim. The area is quiet and the Kioupi tavern below us did not cause any disturbance. We went down several times for dinner. We rented a scooter and reached different beaches and enchanting landscapes every day. A beautiful vacation. We would gladly come back

Perfect spot for a Skiathos stay! it is beautiful, thoughtfully appointed, and close to everything while still feeling private. They even picked us up from the airport.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Maria's apartment. The apartment is very comfortable with a beautiful balcony that had breath taking views! The location was amazing, next to Skiathos towns vibrant Papadiamanti Street, with it's many fabulous restaurants, shops and bars. You need to ascend many steps so good mobility is essential but the view is worth the climb.

We spent a glorious 5 days in Skiathos, and Maria and Konstantinos’s apartment was perfect. The cool white features, crisp linen, neat kitchen and glorious fan above the bed made this a super spot to be able to go into the town center easily for shopping, restaurants, both old and new ports, and still close enough to return to for the siesta! Maria was quick to respond, her recommendations of local spots were very helpful, and having flexible check in was great. We couldn’t fault this spot at all and would happily return every year! As for activities, we had a thoroughly enjoyable day trip on the Saint Nikolas boat with Kiriakos, we took the bus to a couple of the beaches along the coast, we had amazing meals at the Windmill, Cuva and Marmita - the latter needs booking in advance and was our favourite - as well as getting lost in the old town exploring and discovering quaint little scenes and lovely shops. The Sporades islands have something for everyone, Greece at her finest!

Lovely and clean apartment. The host and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful especially when the taxi dropped us at the wrong location, even picking us up in their own car. Easy to access the property once inside and walking distance from the beach and town.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Anastasia’s. The location was fantastic, close to shops, beach, cafes etc. the accommodation itself is very spacious yet small and convenient. Clean tidy and comfy bed! Quiet and tucked from busy high street. Would highly recommend

"I have a dream" On the "Mamma-Mia-Island" our dream came true: Niko's apartment! We relaxed and enjoyed our stay so much. And we shed a small tear when we left. And our holidays were not finished..Breathtaking sunsets from the amazing terrace, Nikos and his lovely familiy: it's simply one of the best experiences at Airbnb we had. So good, that we first wanted to hide this ;-). But Nikos deserves a lot of bookings of nice people. So next time we have to book a bit earlier...;-)

While Paris' apartments do not boast a swimming pool it has easy access to one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches on Skiathos. The view from the apartments is fabulous. Beach Tavernas, bus stop, Water Taxi to town and convenience stores are all within walking distance. The walk around the peninsula from Paris' place is one of the most stunning in Greece. Given notice, Paris will supply you with groceries or, if you want, he will cook for you. He prepared Greek chicken, roast potatoes and Greek salad for us on the day we arrived. There was even a bottle of wine. We will definitely be going back, if not again this year, then next year.

The accommodation is absolutely amazing! In the perfect location right in the town with a view of the beautiful garden and ocean. The host Magda is so sweet and responsive! Skopelos is so beautiful and we were so thankful to have Magda as a host! Can’t wait to go back!

The apartment has the perfect location at the heart of busy Skiathos Town with great views of the harbour. It's just a short walk to any of the restaurants, bars, shops, taxis and bus. We instantly felt at home and loved the simple, greek inspired interior design. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. The bathroom is fresh and clean with a great shower! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Machi. She was very kind and the house was very clean and spacious. It also has the most amazing views of the city which we felt very grateful to experience. 10/10 recommended!

What a pleasure to be able to spend 6 nights in this fantastic accommodation. The amenities are perfect and the view is indescribable. I immediately felt very comfortable and at home. The beach is only accessible via a short trail and you are greeted by paradise. There are three taverns, a mini-market, a great snack bar - all within walking distance! Best of all, if you want to see more, you can explore the island for a €3 bus fee, station no. 21 is only 100 m from the property. I was also so warmly welcomed and said goodbye, I would therefore travel there again and again! Many thanks - also for the wonderful sunrises!

Wished we had met her. Her father met us at the property and explained all we needed to know. Maria answered texts very quickly if we had a question. She came halfway through our stay to clean the property and change the bed linen, and left some of her mother’s home grown fruit. Lovely gesture. My only negative was the bed comfort, however, when is any bed better than your own?

Martin and Lisa are a very nice, likeable couple. Very humorous and if you have any questions, they are happy to help. Unfortunately, we had a motorcycle accident after four days and had to cancel the vacation. Martin and Lisa helped us so much, we were all very sad. We'd love to come back. It would have been such a nice vacation, the apartment is beautifully located in nature, very quiet, super relaxed and decelerating. For those seeking peace, a really very pleasant location with a great owner couple. Dear Lisa, dear Martin, thanks again for everything.

Our stay at Villa Marina on Skiathos was beyond all our expectations. Marina and her mother Morfo were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our stay. Thank you for everything! The accommodation is clean, tidy, and has everything you need. The nights spent on the balcony with a view of the sea were unforgettable. The villa is in an ideal location, so all the beaches, both north and south of the island, are close by. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and in the future, it will be the only accommodation I choose when returning to Skiathos.

Don't let the pictures mislead you - the place is actually more beautiful than it seems! The house is super comfortable and provides a overwhelming view to the city. The host is extremely welcoming and supportive. It was a cute haven for my trip in Skopelos.
