Pleasant place to stay with a neat and clean villa.

We really enjoyed staying at Karen’s place. Its location is great; right next to one of Drachten’s best pizzerias! The room is excellently appointed, with a great bathroom (towel heater!). Well decorated. Bed is Queen sized and quite comfortable. We stayed in 2 of Karen’s places (they were right next to each other in the same building) and both were identical. I’d recommend staying here. It’s great for a couple. We had our 8yo with us as well, and for 3 people it’s a little tight but still doable. I recommend staying here.

We took a short vacation in Ulbe's place as a group & were very satisfied! The area is nice and quiet, the house has plenty of space and everything you need, besides, it was very tidy. Ulbe was very friendly and welcomed us very nicely and equipped with a lot of information about the region. We felt very comfortable and had a nice time there. Thank you!

We really enjoyed it here. The apartment is even bigger than it looks in the photos. You wake up in the morning with a view of the fields, and with a little luck you can even see a few cows walking past the window. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired. In the kitchen, for example, all the necessary things are available. You can quickly get into traditional costumes to make purchases. Groningen can be reached in about half an hour by car for a wonderful excursion. The highlight for us was the cows and alpacas in the front yard. Geert and his wife are so kind and accommodating. You feel right at home without them being intrusive. We are thrilled with our stay and highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved staying at this house. The host was very responsive and was able to accommodate us at very short notice. The house was cleaned well and we loved the amount of space we had. The centre of Drachten is just 5 minutes away, and parking is a breeze; there’s always a spot available. The house has everything you might need, the kitchen is very well equipped. While the house isn’t overly furnished or very luxuriously decorated, it has the most comfortable king sized bed we have found in any short term rental home in Drachten. It’s super comfortable! We’d gladly stay in this house again.

We arrived only at night and that was no problem. Gea also arranged a safe parking space for our bus with valuable items. One of us had accidentally left a watch and it was sent back neatly. Nothing to complain about!

We had a great time - Maurits and Anke were really quick in responding to questions. The studio is really cozy and has everything needed for our three nights (if one would want to cook, it would be possible). We were welcomed by lovely Friesian cookies, always an highlight! We went for a day trip to Schiermoonnikoog which we can highly recommend!

Johan and Karine were very welcoming and helpful. They make their place home "away from home" for their guests. Very responsive hosts and they are always willing to help. I enjoyed my stay, especially when visited Johan's farm where I took some amazing photographs. Would definitely recommend this place!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

Large windows in the open concept apartment made it very bright. I enjoyed sitting and looking out the window at the busy pedestrian street below. Very central.

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organization and communication was simply great, so that we immediately felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske. We just had 3 nights in this apartment and fell in love with it. Very stylish and extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was provided plus a lovely bowl of delicious chocolates and bottled water. This has to be one of our best stays in an apartment yet. The space was large and really quiet. The street is really pretty and full of lovely old buildings. Thankyou Anna. We will be back.

The apartment Zwaluw has a very nice view from the large balcony. Hosts were very accommodating, friendly, concerned about our well-being and warm. For longer stays, bed linen and towels were exchanged and residual waste was disposed of. Thus highly recommended. Gladly again, best regards, Sabine and Andreas.

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

Perfect location close to everything with nice communication and responsive hosts

We had a great time. On the weekend it was sometimes very loud, because in the parking lot opposite many tuners met. During the week it was super quiet and we would love to come back

Compact studio equipped with everything you need, with beautiful garden and view of the church. Piet Paaltjens lived in the rectory, his poem on the wall. Quiet environment, lots to see, good base. Yfke and Henk are very friendly and have created a beautiful place. Repeatable!
