Beachfront holiday rentals in Solanto

The place was beautiful and more spacious than we had anticipated. The view from the sun deck is mesmerising. It’s a walkable distance from Mondello beach. Clotilde, the owner, was proactive with our check in and check out and provided helpful information on local amenities. Overall, I would recommend!

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

We had a wonderful holiday in Giuseppe's apartment. There were 2 cots for our children of 1 and 2 years old and the apartment was very suitable for small children. The private parking space directly on the terrace of the apartment was also very convenient when one of the children fell asleep in the car and could take a nice nap in the car while we still had a view of them from our terrace. We'd love to come back.

We had a one night stay before an early morning flight. The location was perfect. We had a lovely day at the beach. Margherita was very helpful and even gave us a ride to the airport at 4:00am. I would definitely stay again.

Erika is a beautiful and loving hostess who asked us in between if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The place is very nice and stylishly decorated. The cottage as well as the bathroom is well maintained and very clean. You have a lot of space and can move freely outside in the garden, as well as cook comfortably. Nothing was missing in the accommodation and we were provided with a lot of food that we could use. I can recommend it to everyone, especially families, but also friends. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away and it is clean and the water is clear. We would come back here!!

The stay was beautiful, very peaceful and the house was really big with lots of balconies and space! The rooftop was amazing. Laura was also so extremely helpful. We had a bit trouble with getting around since the taxis doesn’t want to drive inside Carini, just to take us outside the city. So Laura helped us getting a local taxi driver who was incredible too. The surroundings are beautiful, not that many restaurants and hard to find a grocery store nearby, but the ones that exist have really nice and friendly staff. The place is really close to the ocean, easy to take a nice walk. We were really happy with our stay, the house was perfect.

The house is perfect for enjoying Mondello beach, comfortable and complete with everything, including parking. Benedetto is an exceptional host, he also welcomed us with some very welcome surprises and allowed us flexible hours. Highly recommended :-)

I stayed in Marilù's house for a week and I had a great time, nothing is missing. The house is very nice, clean, and tidy. Very close to the beach, the convenience store (perfect for shopping because there is everything), the pharmacy, the bar and the restaurants. Marilù and Giuseppe are special, very kind and helpful. I felt at home, I hope to come back!

What a dream place! We had the most amazing vacation in the villa. We stayed at the home with 6 adults and 2 young children (1,5). The master bedroom is almost like a small apartment in its self. There is a room on the ground floor which was perfect for my parents in law who are less mobile. The place is spacious and beautiful. The garden is amazing with the private swimming pool and tennis court. We played tennis every day. The location is also very nice, walking distance from both the beach and the town. We would highly recommend to stay at this place! One of our best vacations ever!

Villa Claudia is place where you experience Sicilian hospitality and comfort at the highest level. From the very beginning, you feel at home – Marco and his mama are incredibly kind and helpful, and a very warm welcome with dishes of Sicilian specialties. Villa Claudia impresses with exceptional cleanliness, lovingly and stylishly furnished rooms. The spacious beds with firm mattresses, plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, pool and outdoor grill provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. For trips to Palermo or the more distant sandy beaches, a car is recommended, but within walking distance you’ll find a rocky beach, a super well-equipped small supermarket (B+F), and “Ganci” – always open for very affordable snacks, cafe, gelato, or a spritz. Villa Claudia offers the best of both worlds: ideal for spending a few relaxing days there and as a perfect base to begin wonderful experiences in Palermo, at lively beaches, or in the hinterland.

Zaira’s place was perfect for our first time in Palermo/Sicily. Explored downtown, some local villages, and Zingaro Nature Reserve before taking car ferry to Sardinia. Pool area was awesome and her garden immaculate. Thanks very much!

Loved the place in Terissini. Was clean and as described. Dario was great and made us feel comfortable.

Antonio and Laura's airbnb was absolutely superb. We were given instructions to first meet in Balestrate town and from there we were guided to Antonio's home which was a nice touch. We arrived and the photos do not do it justice. What a spectacular view and so peaceful despite being about 1km above the main town. The hot tub with that view was stunning. And the complimentary wine was such a lovely touch. We had everything we needed, fresh towels, cutlery, washing up utensils etc. Antonio was a wonderful host. He gave us some great recommendations for our travels. He recommended La Vucciria in Palermo, the Erice-Trapani cable car, San Vito Lo Capo beach which were all within 60/90 mins of the house. It was a perfect location. He also recommended Scala de Turchi (which was on our way to our next airbnb destination). All of these suggestions were incredible. Not only that Antonio gave us fresh lemons from his garden and some pastries. A real gentleman. Thank You.

What a magical place in beautiful Sicily this is! We had an amazing stay and spent a good amount of time at the Villa as it’s a wonderful place to be. The outside environment is superb, so tranquil and peaceful. The pool was perfect for hot days and we spent a lot of time being competitive on the table tennis table. The short walk to a stunning private beach was a huge bonus. The villa is a short drive from the beautiful town of Cefalu which is a must to visit. I would 100% recommend Salvatore’s place to anyone looking for a a peaceful stay in Sicily.

Had a great stay here! Umberto was a fabulous host. He was responsive and extremely helpful, with lots of recommendations to help us with our stay. The place was very clean, with great amenities. It’s also a couple of steps away from the beach. Around there are lots of bars and restaurants you are able to walk to. I would also recommend listening to Umberto and taking his recommendations for the neighbouring city of Cefalù.

We enjoyed our stay at Alessio’s villa. Great communication at all times. The location was quiet and close to the beach. The pool was a real delight. The train station was a10 min walk with regular trains to Cefalu and Palermo. I would recommend Villa Portofino for a stay in Sicilia

Marco was very friendly and gave me a lot of recommendations around the neighborhood after he came to pick me up at the station.The inn is very clean, has all the necessary equipment, and it is located on the coast of this small town, so all the restaurants and supermarkets were close, and we had a very relaxing stay.On the way back, they drove us to the station, and it was a great stay from beginning to end.Thank you Marco for your kindness and welcome.Thank you!

Absolutely lovely place, right on the beach with the most stunning view. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and sleeping to it too. Massimo was very kind, helpful and informative throughout the stay. I would recommend his place as it has the perfect balance of peace and is close to the gym and restaurants. He sent us a list of things to do and places to see, which were great and coordinated not just a driver but a few drivers, as well as giving us clear instructions when checking in and out. Thank you Missimo, hopefully see you again soon!

We were completely happy with the place! The view from the terrace is simply breathtaking. The rooms and the bathroom were clean, well equipped and very well maintained - as was the kitchen. Communication with Andrea went smoothly. Particularly helpful: He organized a taxi for us from the airport and was always available. Andrea was very accommodating to us in everything and made the stay really pleasant. The apartment is conveniently located near the center of Mondello – we could easily reach the beach on foot. There are many great restaurants in the area, and Palermo is also easily accessible by bus. Our stay in Mondello was great – not least thanks to Andrea and his beautiful accommodation. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!

The house was very cozy, surrounded by the sea, trees, and birds. We enjoyed a truly relaxed Italian atmosphere, which was amazing. There is also a huge terrace with the garden. Mandella Beach is just 2 km away, offering sandy shores, plenty of restaurants, and shopping options. Near the house, there's a nice bar with a great view, tasty snacks, and cocktails. Angelo and Marilu are really friendly and wonderful hosts! Thank you so much for your local recommendations .

we stayed at this beautiful airbnb for 5 days and it was the best expereince ever. had breakfast and lunch with such a nice view sunrise, beach view. francesco and flippo were very kind and helpful. with very quick responses to any questions we had and their shuttle service at the airport. very clean space functional kitchen and close to many supermarkets and resturants all walking distance. very local area not far from the train station too. we were only 3 min away from caletta sant' elia where we went for a morning swim eveyday. we would definitly pay anther visit.
