Gålå is an old tourist destination in rapid development. Snow-proof, 630 km of ski slopes and alpine slopes. Gålå Handel which has "everything", and Gålå Hotel is in the immediate vicinity and Røsslyngstua Café is open and with delicious food on the menu. In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. There is more culture: Peer Gynt Festival in July/August, Rondaståk in June and a short distance to the Country Festival in Vinstra

There is a heat pump/AC, wifi TV channels. Cozy cabin, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. Viken Fjellgård is located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, an hour's drive from Lillehammer. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the oven, something hot to drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a snowshoe hike, ice fishing, burn a fire, make a snow cave and snow lantern, or just look at the stars, then this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes. The trails start right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the trip on the high mountain.

Gudbrandsdal leirskole, som fungerer som fjellstue i alle ferieperioder, ligger like ved. Da er også kafeen åpen. Kano, sykkel og skileie er mulig. På Fagerhøy er det fantastiske muligheter for et aktivt friluftsliv. Merkede vandre stier og sykkelruter. På vintertid er det oppkjørte skiløyper i alle retninger. Her er du virkelig på fjellet, 1018 moh.

Velkommen til Viking-gården Sygard Listad. Her bor du på historisk grunn. Viking-kongen Olav den Hellige bodde her i 1021, for å forberede slaget mot kongen i Gudbrandsdalen. Dette skjedde under kristninga av Norge. På gården finnes den hellige brønnen "Olavskilden". Kjøreavstand til Oslo er 250 km og det samme til Trondheim. Her kan du dra på ski i Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, nasjonalparken Jotunheimen eller Rondane. Om sommer kan du se Peer Gynt, moskus-safari eller dagstur til Geiranger.
