Very welcoming hosts Very quiet and relaxing place

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

Extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. Made us feel right at home, almost as if we were friends of the family! Very helpful and responsive on messaging, provided excellent recommendations of things to do (recommend the kayaking) and even invited us to the local village fête de musique. A wonderful, relaxing and memorable time which we would certainly recommend.

We had a great time in the heart of Dordogne. The place is beautiful, overlooking the surrounding woods, the place is quiet and peaceful, if you like tranquility this place is for you. Heated pool and outdoor facilities really very good, being sick as well as my mom, we enjoyed it! The accommodation is functional and very well-equipped, the owners and Jessyca were very responsive to our questions and are present for any concern, very understanding and kind, we thank them 😊

Very peaceful place. Beautiful garden around the pool (large) Top jacuzzi. Tastefully furnished accommodation Very good bedding. Functional kitchen with a large refrigerator and freezer. All very well equipped. Very welcoming owners. Ideal location in the middle of nature and close to everything for shopping. To visit the Périgord, it is central to visit all parts of the Périgord (green, white, black, purple). We want to come back. We'll be there again.

Friends, some people have good experiences through airbnb, and some have out of this world incredible. Ours was insanely magical and out of this world!! We’ve never stayed at an airbnb quite like this! Laurence’s airbnb is situated in the countryside. It was clean, looked just like the pictures, served us breakfast in the garden each day with homemade jellies, and scrambled eggs + fresh coffee. She helped with instructions and she went out of her way to make us feel at home. Additionally, we had our own in-ground pool to soak up the 90 degree sun in. The only issue we had was ‘mapping’ the location through vehicle gps (which was entirely not her fault). The setting was so idyllic that I only hope we can return one day. Lastly, we got to meet and bond with her 3-month old puppy Leah. She has my heart. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you SO much Laurence

Great place for a green stay. Ann & Luc are very welcoming, kind and available hosts (flexible hours, restaurant recommendations). The cottage is well arranged, it has a private terrace with superb views. Ann & Luc live next door and are very discreet. The environment is very quiet. The pool is shared with another cottage but we were alone so we were able to enjoy it fully. Unobstructed and clear view of the countryside. The land is very large with several small furnished corners (hammocks, oriental living room, brazier). We'll be happy to go back and highly recommend this place.

We had a great family stay at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden without neighbors, provision of games… everything to have a good time! And the real plus: a bathroom and a toilet per room. Thank you for this beautiful stay enjoyed by young and old

We had a great time at Virginie and Fred's. A very nice welcome, caring hosts while being very discreet. A true haven of peace where we recharged our batteries as a family. The children particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and chicken coop. The opportunity for us to discover Corrèze in beautiful conditions. Thanks to this lovely family.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

impeccable hosting by Stéphane and his wife. The accommodation is a small house in a green setting, with all the necessities. A small jar of honey is offered and I recommend buying it before you leave because it is really delicious. Hope to see you soon.

Very nice discovery for us that this accommodation is in the heart of an equestrian center. The place is peaceful and relaxing, in the heart of the Périgord forest, many walks of all durations are accessible on foot and suitable for children (the simple tour of the center through the forest is very good for younger children). The view of the decorations and the forest from the cottage is stunning. Muriel is a welcoming host, caring about the comfort of her guests. And of course it is possible to practice horseback riding, our children were able to do an introductory session with a walk in the forest with a competent and attentive instructor. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Our stay went really well. The house is very nice and clean. The location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet. Ideal with dogs (walking path that starts from the house). I recommend it without hesitating!

Great value, friendly hosts, a beautiful house in a peaceful area

Staying at the Moulin de Bord is like going back in time, where the water once sang under stone wheels. Nestled in a green setting, this old mill full of history now offers an enchanted break, away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The murmur of the Bandiat cradles days and nights, and each stone seems to tell the memories of a peaceful past. The setting is of rare beauty, authentic and refreshing. The calm is deep, almost sacred. You breathe nature, you'll find peace. As for Sabrina, the host, she embodies generosity and sweetness. Her warm and thoughtful welcome gives this already magical place an even brighter soul.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Absolutely beautiful property in such a beautiful peaceful location. Although the building was traditional the inside was so modern large and well equipped. Stephane very good to respond to messages. Flexible check in, our flight was delayed but he was there for our late check in. The outside space was gorgeous. Lovely clean pool. Would definitely recommend this property

We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!
