The cabin is located close to Rena alpine and there are great cross-country opportunities outside the door. The slalom slope is open on weekends and cross-country trails are groomed on weekends. In summer: hiking in forests and fields, hunting and fishing and Sorknes Golf. Swimming at Rena camping (Center) or in beautiful Osensjøen 40 min away. Rena city center - cafes, shops, cinema, bowling - 10 km Suitable for couples/families, child-friendly.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. A small and cottage in Norway's best cottage area and cross-country ski resort, Sjusjøen. The cottage contains a hallway/kitchen, 1 bedroom, bathroom, living room and terrace. In the living room, the sofa can be folded into a double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction hob and combi oven. There is no inlet water, but it is well-suited for those who want to take a little shower after a ski trip. In the bathroom there is also an infrared sauna that is quick to warm up.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.

The area also offers exciting activities such as dog sledding (Sjusjøen Huskey Tours).
