Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Sorrento

Incredible property with jaw-dropping views. I loved watching the tides come in everyday and there's a lot of cool birds and wildlife. The area for feedback I have is that the mattresses are all really firm which made sleeping a little rough. I still rate the property 5 stars and think it's the perfect getaway accommodation for visitors of Acadia. Also the hot tub is nice after sore hiking muscles!

As soon as we pulled up to the house, we could immediately see why Sue’s place is so well-reviewed. The surroundings are both peaceful and stunning - we saw a deer in the back yard when we arrived, saw an otter playing in the water on our last night, and spotted many other birds out the back in between! I have never stayed at a more well-stocked Airbnb. We love to cook when we travel, and every time I looked for a gadget or kitchen item, I easily found it. Any time I couldn’t find something, I knew that it had to be there and that I was just looking in the wrong spot, and that was always the case. Although it is a bit of a haul from some of the popular spots on Mt. Desert Island, the setting and privacy was well worth the drive. There is also plenty to do nearby, including Tidal Falls Preserve just down the road! We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay and hope we have the chance to stay here again in the future.

Had an awesome time! The view and the space was beautiful, one of the nicest and most welcoming airbnbs I have ever stayed it. A little far from Acadia National Park but the drive was easy and it didn’t feel that long at all due to the sights. Would totally stay here again.

Great stay! Located on Flanders pond (5 min walk; boat launch / public beach to fish / kayak / SUP). Caught over 10 fish in one boating trip. We’ve been to Acadia before so while we did visit the park, it was awesome to have the option to hang out at the ponds/ lakes / public land nearby and go hiking / swimming / fishing. Schoodic Mountain hike (Donnell’s Pond - 10 min drive) with a 1000ft ascent has stunning 360 views and rivals (if not surpasses) main Acadia hikes. We also went to the quiet Schoodic Peninsula side of Acadia, stopped at the beaches and then hiked Schoodic Head (500 ft ascent) / Buck Cove Mountain Trail (25 minutes away). The new modern cabins have great kitchen set ups with high-end appliances, deep set sink and cuisanart pans which made cooking easy. Super comfortable beds and every amenity needed for teenagers (Multiple TVs, WiFi) etc. Fire pit, grill and screen porch also made for a comfortable stay. Owned by a super nice local family. We will be back!

Great place to disconnect from the world while visiting Acadia. Highly recommend reading Susie’s guide book once arriving as it gives great instructions and advice

Lauren was a wonderful host! We had an amazing stay at her cottage. It was less than a 10 min drive from her place to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia. Lauren was attentive and fair when handling any issues we ran into during the stay. We will definitely be back!

This is our third time staying at the Arthaus. Scott’s place is beautifully designed, modern, immaculately clean, and so comfortable!! We spend our days in Acadia park and love to go home to this private cottage gem. Scott is a fantastic host!!!

This place was located in such a beautiful space. The house was great, spacious, and clean for five of us and the scenery was jaw dropping. We cooked most nights and Michelle had everything we needed. We also loved using the kayaks, hanging out watching the NBA finals from the hot tub and reading on the deck. The drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia was only about an hour away and we would eat late lunches at the variety of restaurants in that area. Schoondic Point is also a must see! Staying at this location was a great way to experience Maine with our family.

We had a great stay! The unit was very clean and well-stocked. The location is quiet and peaceful, and it's a very short drive to both Bar Harbor and Acadia State Park. Allison is a very responsive communicator and she was very helpful with local tips. We plan to return in the future!

Kevin and Donna’s place was very clean and comfortable. It is just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Watching the geese and ducks in the beautiful backyard each morning was a bonus. Kevin and Donna are responsive and friendly.

Really nice well-kept space. It was very clean! Location was perfect for visiting the area. Private and peaceful! Loved walking down to the river just outside of the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was immaculate, and perfect for two people. It was well stocked with dishes, paper products, and towels. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Nancy and her husband were very friendly and gave excellent suggestions for local restaurants. It would have been nice to have access to a gas grill. We really enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to return in the future.

Julie’s listing was a wonderful place for us to relax after a day at Acadia national park or Bar Harbor. It was spotless and had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved Lise’s apartment. It had a beautiful view of Cadillac Mountain. The kitchen was updated, high end appliances and had everything in it that we could need, from organic eggs, bread to fruit and yogurt. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the bathroom with the hand held shower. She was the was the most friendly,attentive hostess we have ever had. This is one of the best AirBNBs we have stayed at and we have stayed in many. I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was amazing. Right off Main Street and totally walkable to anything in bar harbor with a parking space! It was on the right side of bar harbor to get to Acadia within 5 minutes. We loved all of the restaurants close by and the access to the park. The place was so comfortable and cozy! Beautifully decorated and warm after cold hikes in the park. We did not hear any noise at all from the hospital which is tiny compared to the hospitals in Virginia. I didn’t even notice it was there. Brianne was so kind and responsive and recommended lots of good hiking and dining options. I can’t wait to come back here again! If I could give this home 6 stars I would and I am usually a picky reviewer! We will definitely be back to the same house if we come back to Bar Harbor, which I hope we do! It’s a great base for exploring Acadia! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was very comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

The Loon’s Nest was our favorite Airbnb that we have stayed at so far! Donna and Dave were very quick to respond to questions and we appreciated their recommendations for things to do both in and out of Acadia. The Loon’s Nest was beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning watching the loons as well as having fires and watching the squirrels play in the evening. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a a great view to watch the sun come up in the morning. Hope to stay again sometime!

Love this Condo. Superb location in Blue Hill Village, easily walkable to everything downtown. Modern and updated making it very comfortable. Well equipped with cleaning/cooking supplies so you can "live normally". The hosts are super responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I were very excited about visiting Acadia National Park. This location is close to the park (about 10-15 min driving). We stay in the large room for six people. The place is good for a group who can sleep closely (our kids slept next to each other in the two beds and the couch), also keep in mind there is only one restroom. Having a kitchen to cook our meals is always a plus. The common areas are very good. We used the hot tub, the fireplace and the grill. Everything was great! Arthur is an excellent remote host, quickly answering all our questions. I recommend this place for families willing to visit Acadia.

Toddy Haven is just that, a haven from the hustle and bustle of typical touristy locations. It really gives you the idea of what it would be like to live on a lake in Maine during the summer! The dock and the kayaks/canoe dedicated to our place were wonderful and the fire pit areas are amazing too! The host Mark has thought of everything for inside the place but I bet you haven't seen a full size pool table provided before?! As a SuperHost myself, I would rate this as one of the top 5 places I have ever stayed during my travels! Hope to return in the future!!

The best of both world's. Situated on the edge of Bar Harbor, with private parking, this is a tranquil spot to rest and to use as a base for exploring Acadia. At the same time, it is only a few minutes walk to the center of town. We loved walking in the evenings to go to restaurants, bars, movies, etc. --If you get a "late night" (for Maine) hankering for Mt. Desert Island ice cream, you can even walk *back* to town and satisfy your craving (...until 10pm). Loved our visit.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

We were in the area for a quick visit. The apartment is not in Bar Harbor but was a quick drive to it and Acadia. Apartment was as pictured. Thanks for the stay.
