Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in South Cambridgeshire District

Our host’s mother met us at the door of the lovely manor house with a warm welcome. Inviting us in we felt taken back in time with the beautiful and interesting antiques, and rustic ceiling beams, inset stones around spacious curtained windows, cozy nooks and surprises to enjoy as she shared stories about all the history and love that has gone into making this place special! Our bedroom was lovely and spacious with a quaint window seat and an antique wardrobe. The bath had a claw foot tub (still with modern shower attachments). Another pleasant surprise was the fragrant rose and flower garden that she tends herself and the row of topiaries. There is a path to enjoy a shaded pond beside the green, peaceful pasture. We ended our stay with a lovely breakfast with the best toast ever, made on the stove griddle and served with fresh butter, marmalade, plus cereal and fruit, coffee and yogurt. She also sat and shared wonderful stories. Please visit -you’ll love it and her!

Such a beautiful home and a real treat to be able to stay there, offered a very relaxed atmosphere with great amenities and a very lovley breakfast Sophie and her husband were very welcoming and so accommodating especially as we had delays on our journey and arrived much later than planned. I was travelling with friends to enjoy an evening at Newmarket Racecourse and we all enjoyed our stay very much and said we would definitely come back again

Me and my best friend came and had a lovely stay with my dog. We felt right at home very quickly and are already talking about coming back! The food was beautiful, the surroundings were perfect, it was so peaceful. Louise & Hugh were really friendly and easy to get along with. We had a great time chatting to them. I would highly recommend coming here, we couldn't have felt more welcome & it was really good value for money.

Janet and her husband run an excellent establishment. Attention to detail was really good from the communication we had before arriving, organising a taxi and then tea and cake in the garden! The breakfast was yummy and again service warm and welcoming. Highly rate the stay!

This was our second stay and we had a very nice relaxing time again, greeted on arrival with delicious tea and cake and made to feel very welcome. We had a fantastic meal on the first night cooked by the very talented Louise and a beautiful cooked breakfast each morning, highly recommend place to stay and hopefully we will come again.

I enjoyed my last minute stay. Sian is very helpful and communicative. Even though I had some issues unable to check in a bit late, Sian was beyond helpful in making sure I'm in and comfortable.

I enjoyed my clean spacious room in a pretty village South of Cambridge. There are as lots of space to park. An absolutely delicious breakfast was included for overnight guests. Helpful staff at the pub enabled me to check-in even when arriving rather late in the evening. It is very handy for my work place right there in Hinxton.

Lesley's home was very conveniently located near where our business meetings are as well as all the shops and restaurants that we needed on the 5 days we spent in Chelmsford. Her home is pristine and the room where we stayed is very restful. Lesley is a brilliant host, getting out of her way to provide us with one of the best service we've had in an AirBNB stay and we have been in quite a few. We would certainly love to come back next time we have events in the area. Thank you very much for hosting us, Lesley! We're praying you more success in your AirBNB business.

Overnight stay on the way back home from Stansted after a late night flight. Check in details were great with good level of detail which we needed at 1am! The accommodation was in the extensive garden which was lovely and to sit in. Margaret provided breakfast - cereal, tea/coffee, toast with preserves. I would love to spend more time here and explore the local area.

I had a very comfortable couple of days. This is a lovely little place and within walking distance of both the station and the town I would definitely recommend to others

We stayed with John and Michael for a local wedding and had a fantastic weekend. From the moment we arrived, we could not have been better looked after. John and Michael are charming and wonderful hosts. They had thought of everything, and our stay was very comfortable indeed. The bedrooms and bathroom are beautifully appointed. The beds are very comfortable, and breakfasts delicious. All in all, a perfect stay. Thank you both very much.

We loved Eden’s airb&b, it was perfect for our visit to Cambridge and we’ve already planned our next visit to stay again in September. The bed was comfortable, there was tea and cookies in our room upon arrival and a tea pot which I loved. It was a short walk to great restaurants and cafes on mill street and a 25 min walk to the University of Cambridge.

Liza and Mark were excellent host. We had great experience staying here! The communication with Liza was brilliant and very responsive. I appreciated the attention to detail and how easy they made everything. Highly recommend this place.

Stayed in the twin room with my sister this May Bank Holiday weekend, Althea was very welcoming and gave us good advice on the area, even going out of her way to ensure we would be able to get back from the Festival we had attended safely. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for us to move around whilst getting ready etc, and breakfast was lovely and relaxed, we did not feel like we were being rushed to come down and eat or leave the table at the end of the meal

Tina will welcome you to her home like family, its almost like staying at your favourite auntie's, she will go over and above to make sure that you have a fantastic time and visit to the town. Nothing is to much trouble. Thanks for looking after us 😊

Staying at Tim's house was truly special. From the moment he welcomed us into his beautifully decorated home we felt so comfortable. Our bedroom was just amazing with everything you could possibly need plus extras that were very much appreciated. Tim is a wonderful host and he treated us to the most spectacular breakfasts. Although the house is within easy walking distance of the town centre it was very quiet. We can't recommend Tim highly enough and we would love to come back.

I have to say I am so lucky to stay in Althea's place. Very nice house and room. Althea is very lovely and friendly, and she shows me around the city, stores. We have a lot of talks. It just feel at home. 100% recommendation😃

I was attending a workshop at Kings Cliffe. The Cross Keys Inn was perfect for my visit. It was walking distance to the workshop, I was able to have a drink and dinner at the Inn in the evenings. The room was quiet, the bed comfy and the bathroom recently renovated. All the staff were very welcoming. I’d definitely stay again.
