Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in South Lake Tahoe

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

We loved our stay here! The house was spacious and clean, and the layout was great with a large and central living room / kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and the house had plenty of towels for the bath and hot tub (definitely an issue I've run into at other properties). Also a nice bonus, but there were humidifiers all over the house for us to use. Multiple members of our party said this was one of their favorite vacations cabins they've stayed in. The first Airbnb cancelled our reservation after we arrived, due to house cleaning. I immediately tried to book Rodneys home and due to unseen circumstances, we were unable to secure the home that night. I reached out to him the following day and they bent over backwards to help us secure their home. They had not planned to rent the home that weekend, so a few things were left undone by the owner, and I was more than happy to help clean them up. The owner was thankful, and I was thankful. The owner and I communicated all weekend long as to how the house was and if there was more that I could do for them, and needing more time to checkout, since we were in Tahoe for a soccer tournament and my husband was coaching 2 teams so our time was short. I hope when they arrived at the home today they were happy with how we left the home. We plan to return and use this home again. Thank you Rodney and Austry

Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The unit is beautiful, comfortable and as described. It was well equipped with everything you would need. Clear instructions were provided making checkin simple. The hot tub was ready when we arrived which was much appreciated. The location was serene and quiet which was exactly what we hoped for with a short drive into Stateline. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time in this cozy home. Everything was spotless! The location is 1/2 block from the lake and close to a few eating establishments and stores like 7-11. I especially enjoyed the trail system that began a block for the house- so much fun riding and running around the trails.

My trip was a last minute booking and it exceeded all expectations. Anna's house is beautifully decorated and welcoming, has a lot of little touches that I hadn't experienced before in other rentals, and was super clean and tidy. There's a beautiful billiard table in the game room and plenty of board games. Each room had a tv and Roku for streaming. There's a lot of seating for dining, but only one couch, so my kids were always fighting on who got to lay down. Our party was originally for 13 people, but only my family of 5 went, so we didn't get to use about half the house, but there is so much space. The beds are comfortable and we stayed in the master bedroom that had a pull out couch. My kids had a great time just lounging around and we were less than a 10 min walk to Northstar Village. There's also a fun arcade gaming unit there with about 20 games and the kids had fun learning how to play Paperboy. Adam, Anna's co-host, was very responsive to any questions that I had.

Great spot for immediate access to TD skiing. The space was comfortable. The building also has a cozy lounge area with a fireplace.

Perfect location for two dad’s trying to get some slope time in. Easy walk to stagecoach lift for a reasonable price. How could I complain? The place was well decorated and have every amenity you really need, even a cozy fireplace. Would stay again without question. If you are a pillow aficionado like I am maybe consider bringing your own, but I’m sure they’re satisfactory for most people.

We had a fantastic time at this cabin! We enjoyed board games, TV, and the well-equipped kitchen. The only downside was that there was just one hair dryer, and it was a bit old, so we had to share it between the two bathrooms. Overall, it was a great experience—highly recommended!

Our four-night stay at Laurie’s place at the Marriott Grand Residence Club was perfect for our family. The two-bedroom residence was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a full kitchen, spacious living area, and comfortable beds—ideal for a relaxing getaway. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Heavenly Gondola, restaurants, and shops, making everything easily accessible without needing a car. The heated pool, hot tubs, and common laundry added extra convenience, and the friendly staff ensured a seamless stay. For families seeking comfort, space, and top-notch convenience, this is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Great visit, would definitely stay here again. Easy check-in at the front desk. Convenient covered parking garage, great for the winter. Excellent location with easy access to the resort with lots of restaurants. Quick walk to a ski-in/out area behind the complex. There was also a nice gym, pool, spa, etc inside the complex. Thanks for a great visit!

Catherine’s place was a Gem. You can’t beat the location. Quick walk to restaurants, coffee shops and the beach! The home was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Catherine was very gracious and let us book last minute and had the place ready asap! We were so happy to have stayed at their place. Thanks again!

Hands down the best vacation we had in Northstar ever. Can’t beat the location and condo has everything you need to feel like home.

We had an amazing stay at Kenyon's house during our race weekend! The home is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly cozy, making it the perfect retreat after a day of excitement. The space is beautifully decorated, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Kenyon was a wonderful host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, close to all the attractions but also set in a peaceful neighborhood. We can't recommend this place enough and would definitely love to come back in the future. I had an absolute wonderful time staying at this place. It was close to all the shops, restaurants, beaches in the local area, as well as a great stargazing area where we were able to see the ark of the Milky Way, which was about a 30 minute drive. The home made us feel invited And the kids had a great time, especially with the barbecue and the outside picnic area on the porch. No complaints at all and would recommend this to anybody!!!

A beautifully kept cabin in a quiet neighborhood. The space was perfect for a family with two young kids, and the books and games were a huge hit! Would definitely love to stay there again.

Location was in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Walking distance to many restaurants within 3-5 minutes. Casinos were about a ten minute walk. House was as described, beds were all comfy, house was clean and Shannon was very responsive. Really enjoyed our stay.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. We had a great time at the cabin. Our kids loved it so much that they kept asking us if it we could stay longer. It's such a great location for activity's near Donner Lake and Truckee. Also, really appreciated the great kitchen for cooking home meals. Thank you again for letting us stay at your wonderful cabin and hopefully we can return in the future!
