Fantastic host & well equipped cottage that is nicely decorated in a peaceful location! Great extra to get breakfast supplies on our 2 night stay.

Excellent 3 night break in the well appointed Old Dairy with my wife, 92year old father and two border terriers. All members of the party were well catered for the wet room next to father’s bedroom was perfect and all the accommodation being on one level made the stay very accessible. The barn is in a beautiful peaceful setting a few hundred yards from the magnificent Snape maltings and a short drive from Orford, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Super walks for the dogs around the farm and across the marsh to Iken

Helen is an excellent host - very responsive and flexible. It was a weekend away with my family and mother, and she put an extra futon down in our room for our child - at no extra cost. The barn is very well equipped and we had everything we needed. Parking for two cars as well. Stunning views from the Juliet balcony upstairs and ideally placed for our visit to the opera at Snape Maltings one mile away. If we return, we’d happily stay here again.

We stayed here as 5 adults and a baby, it was the absolutely perfect space for us. Sarah and Ed were great hosts with helpful recommendations and very responsive. Very quiet peaceful location only a short drive from many of Suffolk’s beauty spots. Highly recommend.

it was amazing place to stay johanna and chris where very helpful. the barn was very clean and tidy and the area around the barn was nice and peaceful. we went to some amazing place e.g Sheringham, Hunstanton and wells next the sea. we would highly recommended this place if you are looking for a peaceful time away.

Absolutely gorgeous little getaway in a beautiful setting. The space has everything needed - fully functioning kitchen and bathroom, sitting room, comfy bed and outdoor space. It's peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The host (Debbie) was incredibly helpful and responsive in the run up to our stay, and self check-in was easy (and helped by the detailed instructions provided in advance). If you're into beer, then this end of Suffolk is a must to visit!

Beautiful place to stay in an amazing area. Plenty of handy amenities, the house was perfectly clean and a pleasure to stay in. Lovely to be in walking distance of the beach and near the Hill House Pub. If you're planning on going to Happisburgh I'd definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

This was an idyllic stay. The location, the home the photos are exactly as it is, beautifully decorated with great comfort and thoughtful personal touches to make you feel most welcome. The hosts Rebecca and Joe. were most accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Ideal for a group of friends, provided everything we needed for self catering. Very quiet location, but an easy drive to the coast or the Broads.

We had a lovely few days at Betsey Trotwood, the bed was so comfy we slept really well. The accommodation was perfect, and Bella our dog enjoyed the back courtyard. The information folder which Matt and Michaela had put together was very useful, it helped us to decide where to visit, plenty of very nice pubs which served high standard food close by.

This is a nice barn conversion with a lovely garden, which our dog enjoyed very much. The house is easily accessible by car yet peaceful and secluded once inside of the gate. As a keen home cook I loved the large, well-equipped island kitchen, too. Chris gave us clear instructions about the house, and his detailed local guide was very helpful. We loved meeting his super-friendly doggie, too!

We had a lovely stay and it was exactly what we wanted, in a fab location and very peaceful and private. The place was perfect for my husband and baby. It was very clean and had all the essentials. We only wished we could have stayed for longer!

We spent a lovely few days in Sebastian's comfortable cottage. It was perfect for our needs. The icing on the cake was being out in the courtyard garden looking over Sebastian's stunning garden. We enjoyed hearing the birdsong which included an owl each evening. Sebastian is such a wonderful host - extremely friendly but never intrusive. We look forward to returning to this excellent property.

The place was really clean upon arrival and the hot tub was lovely. She was really quick with responses to any questions asked. The area was really peaceful and the garden was private considering there was another place next door. Would 100% book with Eleanor again either at the same place or one of her others, no bad words to say about my stay there.

A cosy and very comfortable cottage for our three night stay. The open plan living/dining/bedroom area actually felt more spacious than it appeared from the photos. The wood fire was a lovely treat on a cold night. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever experienced. The sofa was also comfortable and spacious for two. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive. Not as criticism, but I offer some extra information for others. The cottage is close to the road, and this road is not a rarely used country lane. There is a noticeable amount of commuter traffic, especially early morning and late afternoon. There is a combined washing machine and dryer, but no laundry powder/liquid is provided (so BYO).

Wonderful place in peaceful and quiet location. Felt private and wonderful outdoor seating area. Lovely host. I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car (I did, and made it work by walking and taking buses, but somewhat unpractical).

Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Barn Annexe. Our stay was perfect. The annexe is clean , very comfortable, peaceful and a beautiful location . We really rated the annexe and would love to return. If you want a perfect restful place to stay this is the one. Plus our dog loved the massive garden as did we. Highly recommended. Thanks Jon and Zoe for being perfect hosts .

Exceeded our expectations! The space around the house is amazing, with the pool, tennis court, chickens, and play equipment - the kids loved it! The house itself was lovely and comfortable. The pool and gym have a system where you sign up for an hours use when you want it, which works really well.

Very friendly and helpful host. We stayed in the accessible cottage and it is very well laid out for a wheelchair user. We will be returning very soon.

Fantastic stay, a group of us went to Norfolk for a golf trip and this was the perfect central point. Great area, great house. Carol was very helpful.

From beginning to end we had a great time. We had immediate responses to anything we requested. Melvyn and Linda were wonderful hosts! The breakfast items provided were much appreciated. The books, games and great TV were a bonus. We were invited to sit in the back garden which is extensive and we got to meet the resident barn owl, a lovely female. We would highly recommend this converted barn to anyone looking for a rural location which is well situated to explore the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Thanks you so much Melvyn and Linda!

Lovely accommodation on a beautiful estate. We really appreciated all the littles touches that made our stay very comfortable.

Absolutely loved our second stay at The Barn. The house is beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and we will definitely be returning next year. Jackie is a very responsive host, and we couldn't recommend the Barn enough.
